Delicious food and fast service

I wish I could say good things… never comes consistent. Watery, soggy, and quite frankly old looking. Understood prices are going up but with that maybe put in a little effort. Disgusting pizza and the mozzarella triangles were disgusting. Like they were cooked yesterday and reheated. The pizza with crumbled sausage and peppers distinctly watery and soggy. How can you even send this out?? Chicken fingers? Like they shoved the oldest ones they had in a container. Really disgusting.
For Mother's Day, since my elderly parents can't get around, I decided to order take-out and bring dinner to them. At about 3:15pm, I created an account on La Piazza's webpage and placed an online order. By 4:15pm, dinner was on the table and it was delicious!! Dinner for 3 (3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and one side) was enough for twice as many people. The food was hot, the seafood was fresh, the pasta was perfectly done al dente, and the entire staff -- despite being super busy -- were so pleasant! The online ordering process is amazing -- they allow you to customize every item, so I was able to add extra sauce to my mom's pasta, swap out my regular pasta for whole wheat penne, get two different kinds of sauce for the fried calamari, and select the type of sauce I wanted for the Linguini De Mare and Pasta Primavera. It was a perfect first experience with La Piazza, and I am already looking forward to a second!
La Piazza is a great restaurant that has stood the test of time. Always great cuisine with friendly staff. If you are just looking to get a pizza to go, this is also the place to be. Call ahead and pickup a pie and you can actually get points accumulated to get money off future purchases. The pizza is good. Ingredients are fresh. Cant really complain about much here
Amazing !! Atmosphere is perfect. Erica was an outstanding waitress! She catered to our needs without hesitation and she is so kind. Sadly, my boyfriend did not like the lemonade lol but she offered to replace it without question.
Pizza here is honestly the best in the general area. However lines are extremely long and staff is generally unfriendly.
If you are looking for a private room for a party I would HIGHLY recommend La Piazza in Merrick! I worked with Ashley on a surprise retirement party for my husband. I cannot say enough about the professionalism, hospitality, and quality of La Piazza! Ashley was so accommodating to my every request to create a party that was uniquly tailored to my husband Mike. We had to re-schedule it from February to March due to the Covid spike and they were so accommodating....no issue at all! Our party host that day, Erica, was extraordinary....she was there to anticipate my every need to keep the party running smoothly from helping to set up the decor, the video presentation we had planned, music/microphone that was requested and the timing of of the food served. Bread baskets, water pitchers & wine were constantly being replenished...guests were brought drinks while socializing and tables kept orderly & clean the whole 4 hours.The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was served hot and there was plenty for seconds and even thirds! They provided the event cake from Dortino’s Bakery which is amazing! I was able to request it decorated to match the theme.The event was a huge success with guests reaching out to thank me and rave about the food & service!
Great atmosphere with incredible pizza. Prices are great as well. I’d definitely recommend this place to a friend for great food and great value.
