Good sushi but could be a better place
It was a pretty average place, but I've been to many places in the city and on Long Island so I suppose my expectations are a bit high. The miso soup and ginger-dressing salad tasted like any other average place, a bit pale in color and flavor but still good. The fish and rice were soft so that was great (I've been to places where that wasn't the case!), but for some reason the crabmeat tasted off (I seem to encounter this issue in many places in Merrick however). The interior is really nice looking and it's very spacious. My friend liked her shrimp tempura and my sweet potato tempura roll a lot, but was unhappy with the wait for our food considering we were the only ones there. I wouldn't come here again personally, but I know she would.
The food is spectacular! I crave for the adana kebab with the green rice. There are only a few kebab options (about 6), but every one of them is delicious, juicy, flavorful.

My fiancé and I moved to Merrick last year during covid. Our first night in the new home we tried to dine at several restaurants in the area, but with limited capacity and no reservations we didn’t have much luck. After driving around feeling hopeless, we stumbled on 6 Elements. When we walked in most of the tables were occupied. The hostess said if you give her five minutes they will set a table up for us, which they did. We were pleasantly surprised by everything. The sushi and the food was very fresh. (I’m a pretty picky sushi eater and will not eat sushi from any random place). This place was super clean and the staff is so friendly. It actually became one of our favorite places to eat in Merrick. The staff and owners know us by name now! A great place and overall good experience every time.
