Oh my goodness! This place is marvelous! Kind and generous staff and the food is OFF THE CHAIN! So delicious and plenty to fill up on! The Spare Ribs! Dang! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
Good food with very tasty plantains!Loss of star because service is a bit of a jumble, layered with a surprise 4% credit card fee. Just make your prices cover your POS costs rather than dupe customers into paying more when they get the bill.
Very nice, tiny, cozy space. Nothing fancy or elegant. Perfect for a rainy day and some yummy hearty, homey food. Their "sancocho" and white rice is to die for! Absolutely love this place. Feel like eating at home!
Service was very good. Three of us split the whole chicken dinner and had one serving left over. The chicken was very tasty. I like the green sauce on mine. Prices were pretty good for a NY restaurant. I will be going back
I only got a smoothie and wish I could’ve gotten the food as well.BEST SMOOTHIE OF MY LIFE hands down. I got the Mamey smoothie with milk which was soooo delicious. It was freshly made, tasted like there was no added sugar and so natural. My friend got the guava one (light yellow) which was delicious as well.The place itself had such a homey feel and the servers were sooo nice and lovely. The food looked so delicious but I can’t comment on it as I didn’t get any.I will come back next time for the food for sure ?
Extremely nice staff (they even opened early for us). Warm atmosphere. Robust, flavorful dishes. If you're thinking about getting guac for an appetizer, do it. You won't be disappointed.
This is the second time I come to this restaurant, I tried the ceviche frutos Del Mar and I was very delicious, also the lomo LIC is great, I had a piscojito it’s like a mojito made with pisco. The service is great as well. I will come back often . Highly recommended.
I've lived in the neighborhood for a long time so I'm surprised that I didn't try out this little Peruvian restaurant before. I think they relatively recently bought up the adjacent space that includes outdoor seating. Either way, the food is great as was the friendly service. You get a very good amount of food for what you pay for (1/2 chicken with 2 sides was $19 and there was a decent amount remaining for delicious leftovers). I highly recommend getting the green sauce (although note that it costs $4 extra) and putting it on everything. Was a bit surprised to see that there's an additional 4% charge if you're paying by credit card which was unavoidable (who carries cash these days?). That aside, I'll still be coming back here for a bite, especially to sit outside when the weather warms up.
My boyfriend and I went there yesterday. The food was ok, but they mandatory charged us 20% tip. We just ordered one dish and 2 drinks. I don't know whether it's reasonable for a restaurant to do this to their customers. I understand it's not an easy time for everyone and I'm usually a good tipper. But for a party like 2, it didn't happened to me before. Bit disappointed.
