Only went in for a drink, Carlos the bartender was great I look forward to stopping in again and having a meal next time.
First time I had ordered here and it was for a Lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana to go. It took 20 ~ 25 minutes for the order to be ready. And the guy was polite and made sure to hand me the food directly.Both dishes was of decent servings. The lasagna looked awesome [wasn't for me but was told it tasted amazing.] and the Parmigiana came with mash potatoes and steamed veggies which I loved.The mash was a little bland and dry but I can't expect any restaurant to salt their potatoes with the way people with high blood pressure pop up. The veggies tho was fantastic, particularly the broccoli cauliflower and carrots.All in all, the food was great and I would definitely come back.
The food here I'd really good I live in Brooklyn but I would travel here for the food. The Cosmos are great too.
Definitely worth giving Brooks 1890 a try. Beautiful old school bar with a really fast new school bartender. She could really hustle and kept everyone happy..

My favorite neighborhood bar. The owners and staff are wonderful and really create a friendly atmosphere. Also the best chicken parmesan this side of the East River. Highly recommend.
Stopped in for a hot toddy. Enjoyed the old school feel of this bar.
My mom and I are traveling from Virginia and are staying down the street from this restaurant. We stopped in on a whim the first night we were here and and then again another night. They have fantastic food and great staff. The drinks were also great. I wish I could praise them higher because they knocked it out of the park. So good.
