Stayed four nights at the Boro Hotel last month and enjoyed the spacious. clean and quiet room and bathroom with comfortable bedding. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would have preferred more furnishings in the room, especially a cabinet/shelving unit or two with drawers to stack and store clothing. The desk chair also could have been more comfortable. The area is a short walk from the subway and just a few stops from Manhattan. It's got a great 24-hour deli and some restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.
Wish they had more tap beer options but their rooftop is pretty dope. Quality Calimari as well.
Our room was spacious and clean. Everyone we encountered over the three days was very nice and helpful. The hotel was quiet. We never heard any other guests while in our room. The bed was like a fluffy white cloud!
Stayed here on a recent business trip. Easy access to local amenities as well as midtown without the parking hassles if you have a car. Decor is a bit stark - something to interior the plain white and wood walls and concrete ceiling would be nice - and a little more lighting would have been useful. That said, the rooms are spacious. Free coffee/wine and the rooftop bar are nice.
Great breakfast with artful tastes. Friendly staff 24 hours, even at 5:30 am as I grabbed a fresh free coffee before an early departure. Loved the wall of windows in my 6th floor room that allowed me to see the soft pink glow of sunrise over the city.
The Boro Hotel is great and has all the amenities needed for a short business trip - good wifi, a working desk in the room, and a wondeful rooftop bar with stunning views for an afterhours drink. The Hotel café bar downstairs is really good, and the coffee is excellent. Gloria, in charge of the café bar, is an amazing barista and so warm and friendly. Her coffee and smile in the mornings was a great start of each day! The area next to the café is great for working. Thank you to Boro Hotel and its staff for an excellent stay.
Nice patio, casual setting so you feel relaxed. Good food, nice staff and drinks, the calamari is a skip for me, too much oil in the plate and it was not the best. Everything else I had was good.
Beebe's is a hidden gem with tremendous pizza options! We had the Roni which is a regular pie with pepperoni, highly recommend it!
The Boro, Beebe's and Flavien are the trifecta of hotel accommodations, food and service! I will blame parking or lack there of for the one star...Rooms are nicely appointed, bed and pillows are very comfortable, shower (water pressure etc.) perfect, and the views are gorgeous! Flavien is an excellent host, the food is amazing and the rooftop patio is definitely worth a looksee.The only issue I have is with parking and I will share how to avoid this shituation if you choose The Boro for your stay! Prior to checking in with your rental or personal vehicle, go directly to the Icon parking garage and leave your vehicle there. At 30 bucks a day, your ride is safe in a modern parking garage and I believe it is only .3 miles away from The Boro. At this point, you can either Uber or be uber excited to walk to the Boro, therefore avoiding any drama looking for parking on your arrival! Problem solved.Oh and finally, pay the extra money for the Manhattan view with a balcony! You will not regret it...
I traveled to NY with my two children for a couple of days. Upon walking into the hotel we were greeted by friendly energetic staff. The lobby and lobby restrooms were clean. Even the elevators smelled fresh daily. The Customer service was exceptional. There was a minor issue with our bathroom, & the staff handled it within minutes. The rooms were cleaned and detailed. 10/10 … I highly recommend this place! - Henrietta M.
