Unfortunately had a horrible experience. Have eaten here once before, the food was great but had to wait an hour for our meals to come. Tried this place again, never got water, ice coffee came, the "host" took them away when we asked for milk, odd, then when we asked for more milk because there was a drop in them, it never came. We then literally waited over an hour and a half, food never came. When one of two meals did finally come to the table, it was wrong, the waitress questioned my friend if she was mistaken which was rediculous as she is allergic to avocado. Had to leave and go else where. Plenty of other places to eat in Long Beach, not worth it.
First time dinners. Unfortunately the experience was subpar. We came around 6:30pm it was not too busy. Took 2h to get our entries and only 3 out of 4 came out. The 4th took another 30min because we think they just forgot about it. The waitress/owner re-asked our order multiple times during our wait. Clearly under staffed. The food was enjoyable salmon, shrimp bowl, and stake burger were decent but the 10oz stake was blend with charcoal crust even at medium center.The music was alright for the most part but if you planning to have a conversation be prepared to scream over the music.
This is a very local, very cozy cafe. The staff is friendly and seem happy. I've been here a couple of times and the food is constantly good. I believe the chef's name is John. He was very friendly and made us feel at home. They have live music on the weekends. I don't know if they also have on weekdays. I feel comfortable recommending.
We came here because of the vegan options on the menu. It was a mixed party so I was looking for a place with vegan and non-vegan options. The menu had a nice variety of options and the food we ordered was really good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I also didn't realize where would be live music before we went, but it was a pleasant surprise. Overall we had a great time and will be coming back soon.

Food was amazing! Order the fried brownie for dessert. It will change your life. Candie and her staff couldn't be nicer. Steve Scouten was on guitar with Bob Levy on trumpet playing some great music while we ate. Go here and go often!
What can I say... Paul was an amazing and kind host. The food outrageous. Breakfast was on point!!! Prices very good and setting was comfortable, casual and clean. You must stop and try it at least once, while your in town. You will not be disappointed. Indoor and Outdoor seating.

Service Was Very Pleasant. But The Food I Didnt Care For. Very pland In Taste.
I got coffee twice from this place, first time they run out of milk, second time they run out of coffee.Coffee is $4 for a small cup and tastes like bodega store coffee. Plus the girl at the front is rude.
