My favorite sushi restaurant on Long Island. I love it here and having worked in a Asian Fusion restaurant for years this place is on point. I recommend the Himawai salad for appetizer if you like sashimi. They also make an excellent futomaki roll. My friend is a fan of the salmon teriyaki the seafood udon soup.
Now this is the place to have dinner, lunch etc. The quality is great & the prices are fair !!! — Additionally, they treat you with kindness & respect at the restaurant and when you call for delivery.

The place is filthy. They gave us dirty used menus. One had children's drawing in... Eat elsewhere.
What is going on guys? Himawari has been our go to for years. We recently moved back to the area; first place we ate was Himawari. It was not up to normal standards but we brushed it off. Then we went back again a few weeks later, and again it was ill prepared, sloppy presentation, and the fish was off. Which Himawari has never ever been any of those. Now we just ordered, the rice wasn’t cooked. The fish tasted fishy again, and the noodles were slimy with this weird sticky undercooked texture. Jimmy hasn’t been there much I at least to my knowledge; so I don’t know if that’s why the quality is down. I hate to say it but I don’t think we will be going back.
I have had so many sushi and this is the best!the sushi is perfect and I choose this restaurant over anything else!?♥️
