I purchased the hard ice cream scoops and I’ve never tasted ice cream of such poor quality. I’ve had Carvel throughout my lifetime and this did not taste like Carvel. One of the flavors I couldn’t even eat. It tasted so artificial I couldn’t stomach it. I actually stopped at another Carvel to sample the same flavor. Tasted like night and day. Not sure what they are serving up here but it was not good and it did not taste like Carvel. Would never go back.
We stopped on the way to the beach, and we’re highly disappointed. Masks were required but we didn’t have them on us because we were heading to the beach and didn’t plan on stopping anywhere, so I popped my head in the door and asked if they had a mask that I could wear so I could come in. The employee physically shooed me away with his hand and told me to leave, without even answering my question. I didn’t even enter the building so there was no reason to be so rude, I simply asked if they had a mask so I could come in. We didn’t get any ice cream, & even if I had my mask on me I wouldn’t buy ice cream from them because they’re rude & don’t deserve my business. I can’t speak for the ice cream but can speak for the culture of the environment and the behavior for the employees.

Great addition to the west end Carvel is consistently good. Got a small soft serve vanilla cone which looked more like a large and it was as good as anticipated.
