Stopped in after a hockey game for a beer and some food. Very surprised by the freshness and quality of the food I had! I had the mustang chicken sandwich and opted for the house salad, my wife had Rueben sliders with fries and my son had chicken fingers. We also had some macaroni cheese balls appetizer and root beer wings. The wings were on point! Grilled to perfection and an interesting taste. I only live minutes away and I will be back for sure! Great food, great atmosphere, good service all make for a great business! And it’s locally owned and not a chain!

Food is excellent. I walked in and saw a full house it's a bar and grill. I thought that I was going to get something just tossed together but they fooled me. Yummy.
This was our first time there. Food was excellent and the service was quick. The waitress came over several times to check if we needed anything. We will definitely be going back!
Re-review after a ton of months not being able to get up to Lockport, still not disappointed! The place was busy between the Bills game and the games at the rink, service was quick and attentive and the food out quick and hot. We will not make it so long before coming back next time!
Service was ok. Atmosphere more of a bar than a place to eat. Decent menu, kids meals don't include drinks. My son's rookie burger was burnt and taken off the bill but by the time we were asked how everything was we couldn't wait for something else to be cooked. Both my daughters mini pizzas were over cooked, my sandwich, The Aud was ok, for some reason half of it was super soggy, wife had the cheese steak and said it was ok. Fries and onion rings seemed to have been cooked in oil that was dirty and in need of being changed. Would not stop back.
Walked in with my wife and son, was withing for the floor waitress to look up, was pounding something on a tablet, she looked at me and said in a nasty voice "I will get to you when I get done with what I'm doing". I didn't say anything. A few minutes later the bartender seated us? Was very pleasant and fun. We had the battered mushrooms. They were cooked to the point of bring mush inside. Fried dumplings were good. French connection sandwiches were good, burgers was ordered, no one asked how my son wanted it cooked, came out rare. All our onion rings were overcooked also. This was our first time trying the Penalty Box. Sadly our last also. Btw, table was dirty also. My wife had to clean it off with napkins.
floor waitress was rude and dismissive without us even talking to het. battered mushrooms were overcooked, onion rings were overcooked. and wete too breaded burger wss too rare to eat. bartender came out and served us and wss very friendly and entertaining.
I didn't eat at this place, but I did walk by there on my way to the Locks Cruise. The food looked and smelled great and all the patrons seemed to be enjoying their experience. I will definitely try this place if I get the chance in the future.
I just went to the Penalty box on Sunday with family from out of town and the food was great, everyone was impressed and we had a very friendly server who was extremely helpful. Highly recommend, we will back.
