Small dive bar...good brick wood fired pizza...limited menu..only wine and beer...has a full bocce ball outside court...friendly bar server...was ok experience...
Located on Short St, which lives up to its name btw, sits Short Street Bar. An unassuming joint with amazing bocce courts! Came here from Cleveland for a bocce tournament. There are a total of five bocce courts. Four of which are under a covered pavilion and appear to be clay. The fifth court is uncovered and is just crushed gravel for now. The latter court will eventually become a clay court as well. Staff was amazing and friendly and the tournament was a blast! Bar is clean and the patio area has a nice fire pit along with some tables and chairs. I did not get to try the food so I cannot comment on that but from what I was hearing while there, the food is awesome. If you are looking for a place to play some bocce and have some drinks, this is a great spot. If we are ever back in Buffalo/Lockport area, or if they host another tournament, we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great time SSB!
Great pizza and bocce courts
I had no idea what goodness awaited me inside this simple pizza box but WOWZA ?Delicious!!! I travel with my hub over the road sometimes & we love to try new places to eat. The last time he was in Lockport, he ordered from here & loved it so much that there was no question where we'd order from this trip.I'm not even much of a pizza gal but this right here... Great place to hang out. It’s not your local pick a fight place. Great people, awesome food. Perfect place to socialize ,relax or watch the game or listen to the band playing on their bocce courts.
