I am probably the only one that's really not a fan. They do have awesome ice cream and some very complicated concoctions. Unfortunately, I'm a very simple one scoop, swirly kind of a person. They told me I could go to Dairy Queen for that. The quality of the ice cream is great and the people are nice and they move you fast through the lines. So if you want something extraordinary and have time to read and understand the complicated menu go for it. It's something different. It's just not for me.
The best ice cream around as far as I'm concerned. Even out of the freezer it is still creamy and the variety of flavors are unique and change regularly. Can be expensive but you are paying for quality in my opinion. Jason and Eric, if either of you are reading this please bring back the Butter Lamb and Green Tea flavors!
There are not many options for specialty ice cream in the area.I'm not one for rich desserts.However most people are, and if you like caramel you will most likely enjoy your trip.Nice seating options.
Ice cream is delicious and decadent. Flavors are exciting and water tastes like water. The location is cool right next to the locks. Would choose to cream here whenever. I got the Paula’s glazed donut flavor and it had donuts in the ice cream. Donuts in the ice cream. I like donuts I like ice cream . Donuts in the cream
My husband & I were there not long ago. Fantastic place & so many flavors, it’s hard to choose just one! We were so impressed with Lake Effect ice cream, that our daughter decided to take her family there! Of course, they had to visit Niagara Falls, too! Her oldest son & his wife met them for the day, we live in Ohio. And beside the falls, this was the one place they were locking forward to visit! They all said it was the best ice cream they ever had! Great job, Lake Effect Artisan Ice Cream! We’ll be back!
Fast service, very polite staff. I went to try out their new boba drinks. Got the green tea one, very good! Can't wait to try out the other flavors!
This place has amazing ice cream. They have many, many flavorswith decent serving sizes.Try their Revolution Coffee ice cream and chocolate.Current COVID restrictions: Masks suggested but not required.
Just got their valentine box assortments (and the dog treats!). They are so awesome. I can no speak for the valentine box assortment-everyone in the family loved them. The dog seemed happy with her treats too. Wish we could get these year-round!
Great place to relax and have custom ice creams. Several great choices. Easy to get to and enjoy some great flavors with family. Try lotus sundae.
Lake Effect ice cream is our favorite place to go. We love the wonderful flavors they have crafted. There's not a single one l haven't enjoyed. Plus they have a great location to explore the canal locks. It's a must if you are near Lockport.
