Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere. We chose this place because they offered gluten-free pasta. These guys put Olive Garden to shame!!Oh, and Stephanie was an amazing server!! She was very helpful and was more than willing to get answers to my questions, if she didn't already know.
Went to Syracuse from Rochester on short notice for calling hours and needed dinner afterwards. Boy were we delighted to eat at Santangelo's Restaurant! I had the salad with strawberries and oranges followed by the best chicken parmigiana! Hot and perfectly cooked! The sauce was smooth and a little bit sweet. Had to take 1/2 of it home because it was so large! Will definitely be back!
We visited on a busy Saturday with no reservations and the staff seated us within 20 min. Our server Amanda was outstanding. Great attitude, quick with our drink orders and Super enthusiastic. She offered some great recommendations. The food was outstanding with unique selections. We were so happy with our choice to eat here! Had shrimp pasta, Utica greens, veal Marsala.
A group of 4 came for dinner on a Thursday night from our nearby Hampton Inn & Suites. We didn't think we needed a reservation at 5:00-but it was very busy!!! They luckily were able to easily seat us out on the enclosed porch. We loved it out there since it was a sunny evening! We started with a Pinot Grigio from Caposaldo. We had Stuffed Veal Raymo and Seared Scallops. Both were delicious! Super friendly people, great service, and great food. The perfect trifecta for a great meal!!
First timers, Canadians traveling through Liverpool, New York. Checked out Trip Advisor to see where we could go to have dinner, and saw Santangelo ranked 1st! No wonder… Food was awesome, tasty and portions were generous. But what made the experience even more glorious was the service from Cherice!! She was delightful, professional, friendly, and welcoming. To me, scrumptious food combined with excellent service are a perfect recipe for success for any restaurant! First time but definitely not the last: we WILL be back!
A very relaxing atmosphere where the staff takes the extra time to make you feel welcome as if in their home! Service was very prompt and polite without being bothersome. Food taste and quality was excellent, the majority of items served were handmade with authentic recipes and from fresher ingredients. An all around quality experience!
Santangelo's is a favorite restaurant of ours. It is consistent, comfortable, family run and the food is excellent. During the height of the pandemic we did take out from there a number of times & were never disappointed. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone !
