This was our second time. The food is authentic, fast, and yummy. I don't remember what we had but it was Mexican, duh. They have the Spanish channel on the TV and nice Mexican decor. A big takeout clientele.
This place is a gem. The food is delicious and authentic. The staff is super friendly. The restaurant gets super busy for a reason. Service was a little slow because they could use the extra help. It is the best Mexican food place that I have been to, and I have been to Texas. Two thumbs up and high praise for this place! If you love Mexican food, then you won't be disappointed in this place.
One of out favorites! Tried a new dish and it's delicious. It's Pina loca I highly recommend it.
Lovely atmosphere, delicious food. It had been several years since I had been to Rio Grande and was excited to see the way the restaurant has changed. The booths and chairs are carved and painted with beautiful images, the bar looked great, and as always the food was delicious. Our server was kind and attentive and our food was served quickly. Highly recommend!
My fiance and I went here a couple years ago when they first opened (before they had a liquor license) and the food was so good. After moving out of Liverpool we kind of forgot about it, until it was our anniversary and decided to make a trip back to Rio Grande. It was AMAZING. The food, atmosphere and staff were great. If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place to go! So happy they are doing well and we can't wait to go back!
Beyond impressed with the service and experience here! Waiters asked endlessly how everything was and how they could do better. Definitely will be back!
If only i could see how much alcohol was in this margarita, because it tasted like none. I drank a lot of marg mix that day. Food was solid mexican/hispanic grub, don't get the shrimp salad, get a burrito/taco/quesadilla and thank me later.
Great service. They are short staffed but working as fast as they can while trying to provide the best service possible. My food came out quickly and was delicious!
The food was good, and they served the beer in massive glasses. The service was quick and good as well. The flavor of the chicken and peppers inside of the burrito were great!
We moved away a few years back. We make a point of stopping by everytime we come visit. Food is amazing, beautiful atmosphere and the staff are wonderful.
