Long waiting time. Waiting staff were impolite. Even the manager.
I tried out the Liverpool location recently and the first time I got an Asian server who was absolutely miserable and you could tell she did not want to be there. I considered never going back. I tried it one last time and got the world's absolute greatest server. Shelby is an absolute treasure. By far the greatest server I have ever experienced and I will be going back for her alone. She was attentive and cared about all her customers, she was quick and always had a smile on her face
It was the first time I’d have ever been at a Friendly’s and it was amazing the food came quickly and was delicious. Our server was Shelby and she provided great customer service and kept us up-to-date on the status of our food and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Food was great and Service was even better, highly recommend Friendly’s for an exquisite meal
Me and my family had the worst experience. We came in and it was busy, which i understand. Our waitress seemed annoyed with us, and she never checked on us at all. The only time she came back to our table was to give us our drinks and food. Not to mention, they only gave us one thing of silverware when there was three of us. So we had to ask probably twice for more silverware. I had tried to yell down the waitress to try and refill my little brothers drink. The food was not good, and my mother got a crab entrée and found actual SHELLS in her food. I get that it was busy, so I left a tip. I regret leaving a tip because after we left the waitress came out after us yelling at us saying oh one of you didn’t sign your receipt. Mind you this, my mom and I had already payed and left and we had a horrible experience. It felt as if she was accusing us of lying, and it quite literally felt like she chased us outside. My mom was so fed up with both her and everything in general that she went inside to get it for her, personally. My mom was very upset, as was I. As we left I noticed she charged my card TWICE. (Me and my mom split the bill). I had returned not even 10 minutes of leaving and I asked for the manager, Taylor. She was very nice to me, and I really appreciated her help. She had given me a full refund, and I am hoping that actually happens because so far I have been charged for the full price (not half, since we split the bill like mentioned earlier). I still have a pending charge for the half amount of the bill. So, if that pending goes through I’ll be charged THREE times. Thats more than our whole thing even was. I will say I hope the manager kept her word, because this was the worst experience in my life and I will NEVER return here for sure.
Waited 20 minutes after being seated for our waitress to take our drink order. Waited another 10 minutes before our drinks were delivered. My sundae was horrible. I said I have an allergy to nuts yet there were nuts on my sundae.

Terrible experience for me. It was my friend's little sister's birthday and one of the waitress literally spilled soda all over my 4 year old nieces face on her birthday!! As a waitress honestly learn how to do ur job and if something feels too much or too heavy put something down or something !poor baby had ice hit her face all over the table and my friends phone. It was embarrassing. And honesty if we weren't with the Group of kids she would've got cussed out ??♀️ never going back here.
We come here every time we drive through New York, it’s such a great location. Service is always great, food is always yummy. We used to have a bunch of Friendlys in the Cleveland area where I’m from, but now I have to go to New York for some Friendly’s. It’s always worth the detour though!
Worst expirence I've ever had at this friendlies. I used to come here all the time for my birthday when I was a kid and me and my girlfriend went on a date here and the food was ok, about what u would expect, ice cream was great and our waitress was very friendly even though she seemed exhausted. My biggest problem here was me and my girlfriend couldn't have a conversation because all the waitresses decided to stand around talking over everyone else in the dining area to each other ignoring most customers and having very little care for people at the dining areas, talking about selling things to each other and just making the whole experience extremely unpleasant, one older Asian waitress was very rude to an older couple and very short with every customer she had. Will no longer be visiting this location.
We love this Friendlys... The food always good and the service is always friendly. We dont visit often as we live about 45 minutes away but its always worth the trip
