Great place to eat drink and work! love it!

Used to come here all the time when it was the old owner. Gave it a shot tonight to see what it was like because I haven't been since the new ownership. Honestly, not as good as it used to be. And for a Friday night at 830, it was a lot slower than it would have been in the past. Service was slow (on her phone most of the time) food was okay. Definitely won't be my regular spot like it used to be.

Over an hour wait to get our food. The French dip meat was inedible. You could not even chew it. What is listed on their yelp menu is not even on their menu. Steer clear

Food was excellent service excellent atmosphere really nice

Food was excellent and so was the service. Definitely go back again

Massive improvement with the addition of the new chef in the kitchen. By far the best burger I've had in Syracuse in the 5 years I've been here. Michael deserves a huge shout out for being the one man show waiting on everyone and manning the bar. Will definitely return to try more of the menu!

If I could give this place no stars I would. My husband and I decided to do a lunch date and we were very disappointed! He had read about this place in an article and thought why not try something new. First impression upon walking in, it's small but has a nice modern look. We found a booth next to the window and sat down. We were seated for almost twenty minutes with no one even acknowledging our existence. Both the bartender working and the one waitress I saw, continued to help other customers and walk back into the little room behind the bar, with not so much as a word or look in our direction. I finally stood up and went to the bar to ask for menus where I continued to stand for an extended period of time before being acknowledged. I even had time to chat for a moment with another customer who had come in after my husband and I, who had also already been helped. He joked he would have brought us his menus. Keep in mind this place is small and there were probably 3 couples at the bar and 3 tables of people, so not many people in the place at all and certianly not enough for us to be invisible or ignored! When I asked the bartender if I could see a menu, she seemed annoyed by my question and offered no apology for the length of time we had sat with no acknowledgement whatsoever. Needless to say we did not stay and we will never visit again. I have worked in food service and have not once in my life walked into an establishment as a paying customer and felt completely invisible. Congratulations, Eagle Tavern you certainly did that and I will not be recommending you to anyone I know.

Great place, good food. Owner is extremely personable and came to meet us at the door. Would go again.

Small place, but service was great, food top shelf. Not crowded. Will definitely stop again.

Great burger and soup. Chicken BLT special was on point. Lunch servered until 2 dinner starts at 4. We will be back.
