Nice place, nice outside seating next to dock on the canal, nice atmosphere, nice service. BUT for the food, the most important part imo, and for a "wing" place im expecting great wings. Every place sells wings these days BUT Hurricane Wings should be serving the best since wings is in their name, BUT I don't think so. We asked for crispy BUT they were not crispy, too bad. We even told the owner(hence the 2-less stars) he gave us a long song and a dance about why they weren't crispy; the fryer oil temp, the cooks idea of crispy, the amount of time it is cooked, the age of the oil, etc. All valid reasons But what does that have to do with us not getting what we ordered? How about the owner saying sorry or let me do them over for you, or even let me get you something else. Any and all would have gone a long way, definitely would have brought us back. We only had the wings and a couple drinks BUT will say just give them a try, lot's of nice selections on their menu we didn't try, hopefully you will have better luck than us.
Everytime it's awesome! The atmosphere, character and staff are all wonderful. A great spot to eat on the water. Food is always good and affordable. You can eat outside by the water, at the bar inside or get a booth and watch a nearby TV. It's my go to spot and lately the Hangover burger been my go to meal. As far as mixed cocktails I only order the coco carribean. It's so good. The whole vibe of the place keeps me coming back.
We always have a great time and a great meal at Hurricanes. The ginger/garlic sauce for the wings is our favorite. The burgers, sandwiches and tacos are all amazing. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick but not rushed. They have a great selection of beers and fun cocktails. I only ever have one complaint and it's with their salsa. Otherwise I love everything!
Always good food. Always good service. Wings are the best within 5 miles. Gabby always treats my family well. Never disappointed. Great location. I come back all the time.
We were a group of 6. Everything we ordered was great and our Server was amazing. We'll be back.
I am not the the type of person to ever go out of my way to leave a one star review at a restaurant but the service at this restaurant is laughable it's so poor. The hostess were friendly but our waitress Amber was unprofessional and rude. We ordered drinks to start and a member in my party didn't enjoy her drink because it was poorly made, so she asked our waitress to order something else. Amber told her that she still had to charge her for the drink because "she knew what she ordered". We requested to speak to a manager and all of a sudden Amber was the manager. I myself am a waitress and never would I act the way Amber acted tonight. She should be embarrassed and I hope that one drink was worth losing an entire table of customers.

Completely disappointed! All of my 25 wings were bland, they were obviously stingy with tossing them in the sauce. Some of my larger wings were under cook ( which I'm now paying for). The Mac and cheese bites were OK, there was no visible bacon in the bites as described and the cheese sauce was mainly on the nachos. I've ordered the same wings a few weeks prior and they were amazing. Had great flavor, crispiness, cooked all the way through. Unfortunately I have to find a new wing place.

As A Person Of Color (African descent) Hurricane Grill Employee Embarrassed Intentionally Embarrassed Me Today 06//20/20 6:30pm.I stated the wrong name for pick up and then I restarted the correct name and Hurricane Grill Female Employee Accused Me Of "Shouting over customers" .How can I be shouting over customers if I am at the counter? Even the nearby customer had to give me the awkward look, as what the heck is the employee speaking about.In these times it is not okay to display such poor representative character. First bad experience as most times the experience was okay. But this was a different female . Heavier and Blonde looking.
