Went for lunch and again another delightful experience eatingThai food. We had Chicken in yellow curry very spicy and rice noodles combination along with vegetables spring rolls and Thai ice tea. My girlfriend is allergic to peanut as Thailand eateries are known for nuts. But she got her food without and she really enjoyed. Thanks for the service...
The lunch was delicious. Wait staff were great. They let us linger for a couple hours. This was my first time at Tamarind Thai - I will definitely be coming back.

This place is AH-MAY-ZIINGGG!! So unexpected! I decided to try them because there were some good reviews and didn't have expectations because it was Latham NY and we have eaten at myriad Thai spots in most major culinary cities in the US. The building from the outside looked unassuming, and the inside was nicely done. But the food! Oh it was so good. They have a very passionate and unique take on many Americanized Thai dishes. The flavors were nuanced and creative. They have a huge section of their menue\ dedicated to the glory of duck (with good reason) which I rarely feel motivated to order at most Thai restaurants. Major shoutouts to their Tom Yum Fried Rice (!!) and, surprisingly, their Pad Thai --wasn't the usual peanut heavy flavored cloying sweetness you get everywhere. I grew up in the capital region and was there helping my parents move out of their 40 year home and have little reason to be back in the area, but might swing wide sometime just to get more from Tamarind Thai!
The food is great here! I love the Pho and have gotten it three times in a row. The staff is nice and quick.
The food was outstanding, the server was the best, smiling, great table manner, we got there for dinner a bit late, but she opened up for us. Blessings to her. Thank you.
