I was soo sad to introduce my 7 year old son to Sonic Drive In. There were only 4 people on staff (according to the person I talked to). I was in the drive thru for 30 min and when I got my food it was not correct. My son ordered popcorn chicken and we got tater tots and fries. When I called (because all doors were locked) they told me I could either come back for free popcorn chicken or get back in the drive thru. I was rightfully upset and said I didn’t want to sit in the drive thru for another 30 min. The last on the phone gave me an attitude and told me to pull up to the door and I can wait 7-10 min for more to cook. Then proceeded to hang up on me.
Takes way too long. Why does it take 40 minutes to bring out a corn dog that was ordered in advance? This is a regular occurrence.
Did a mobile order today, got there at 2pm and almost all the stalls had cones in them. Went to go inside the door was locked. I had to wait 10 min for a stall to open and then wait another 10 once in the stall. I tried to talk to the carhop and she walked away. My order was wrong when I got it but just gave up at this point.
I waited 45 minutes for nasty food and awful costumer service. We ordered on the app and knocked on the car hop door and saw 5 employees running around having fun, while their are 30-40 people waiting on line for their orders. The kitchen looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the entire place was nasty. I highly recommend getting food form somewhere else other than Sonic. Sonic is a waste of time and money! I will never go to Sonic ever again.
Worst place on earth. Great example of what America is becoming now. Ordered it through app . Went to the stall and waited and waited and waited …..Display said Anyita will bring your order. No one was there for about 20 minutes. Called many times no answer. Called through the red button. After paying the money and hungry nobody cares to deliver the food. Not sure how there is no regulation on this. Peeked through the door . What a filthy place . The employees were running around in the dirty kitchen and having fun absolutely doing no work. Finally Manager macho coming and saying back off man without offering any help. Another customer coming behind me telling that he has been waiting for 45 minutes . Never again
The drive-thru had a long queue and each stall had a car in it, with others waiting. They got our order wrong and gave me a drink that was basically 100% lime syrup, but the man who fixed our order did so within 1 minute and made the drink himself while he had us listening in on the call box to make sure it was right.All in all, they are obviously understaffed and I think right now it wouldn't be out of line to show a little grace to service staff while we sit in the comfort of our cars.
Tots so salty they were inedible. Waited an absurd amount of time for overly salty and cold food. My blue coconut limeade was good though thank GOD because my mouth was real sad about them tots.
Of the Sonic locations I've been to in NY, this one has been consistently the BEST. Great service, food is cooked really well. Highly recommend!
Diner is close due to covid which is Understandable. Drive thru was wrapped around the building(because the diningroom is closed). Went to a stall to order and sat there for 10 minutes before someone comes out to hang signs saying they are closed. Best part is when he came to the stall we were at and he acted like he didnt see us, hung the sign, then turned around and said "oh, are you here for food? Yeah We're closed."
We placed an order on the app to pick up, pulled into a stall as the app instructs. Name came on the screen and said the order was being made (it was only ice cream). We waited 20 mins. Tried to give benefit of the doubt because they were busy. Hit the red call button only to have the employee yell "stalls are closed" at me 4 times without letting me speak. Then we had to wait another 15 mins in the drive thru line to finally get our order. I am typically very patient but this location is ALWAYS a disaster. By the time we got our ice cream it was basically soup and we were all just annoyed.
