whenever I come back home to visit. I stopped at Bella Napoli pick up my pastrami on rye on my way back to Jersey. fantastic sandwiches and great cannoli.
If you want to try an incredible crispy on the outside, moist, chewy and warm on the inside donut, with a burst of sweet raspberry jam, then get over to Bella Napoli quickly! These delicacies sell out quick and there is always a line! For a treat, sit on the counter stool and order an espresso and a breakfast sandwich. While dining, watch the women behind the counter, pull string to wrap each cardboard box filled with donuts. The string hangs from above. These women are the boss! They can get a bakers dozen in that box quicker than you can say bakers dozen. Dominic, the owner is equally amazing and regularly checks to make sure customers are happy.
Absolutely delicious pastries - the Airbnb I’m staying at had them at the breakfast table. They were perfectly fresh, amazing flavor, and just the right amount of sweet with tart cranberries.
Our family has been picking up our cannoli, Sfogliatella and bread at Bella Napoli for decades (likely since 1965 when they opened!). On a recent trip to the Albany area to visit family, we stopped in twice and also really enjoyed the Italian hoagies and breakfast sandwiches. The bread is delicious, the provolone sharp! The blueberry powdered jelly donut was so fluffy and delicious, my intention to eat half was quickly cast aside. The limoncello and pistachio cannoli were delightfully delicious. Pro tip from our grandma, wrap the pastry you don’t eat in paper towels or napkins and they will keep fresh in the fridge for a few days, extending your enjoyment of the box you surely will fill to share with friends and family.

Simply the best by far. Their donuts are superb. Not baked like the chain stores. Not oily at all. Bread ,coffee cake and layer cakes are top notch.
My favorite spot! I stop here every Friday for hands down the best cappuccino I've found in the area. They also make a killer bacon egg and cheese on their own fresh baked rolls! The baked goods, donuts, cannoli, cookies etc are also super delicious and the girls behind the counter are so kind. Come here for a cappuccino+ breakfast, you won't be disappointed!
How have I not already done a five star review for Bella Napoli?! This is the best bakery. It is consistent and always wonderful. Thank you to Alyssa and Julia who were so helpful and patient with me when I placed a customized cake order!
