I feel indifferent about this restaurant. I don't feel like our experience was overall good or overall bad. It was however okay. We had a longer than expected wait to get seated but ignored that due to the holiday. Our server was good over all. They made a few careless mistakes. Such mistakes include not hearing our orders correctly (we asked for no coleslaw on the appetizer,, I asked for broccoli not fries) or being preoccupied elsewhere. Perhaps because staffing shortages caused them to be over stretched. The food was cooked well. We were thankful. Staff was friendly. My main concern was on the cleanliness of the restaurant. I can deal with wait times and food mistakes. However, please tidy up.
After my experience with Applebee's I would have to give this place one star. Due to the lack of care from the waiter, I've felt unwelcome. To elaborate, whenever I asked for assistance the waiter seemed very annoyed and would give me a look of disgust. Also, when we were ready to check out, I had to wait for 30+ mins to receive any type of service on top of getting up to box the food myself. I will not recommend this place to anyone without having to explain how bad the service is.(This was on Saturday April 30th a little bit after 11-12)(The waitress was Caucasian with black/red hair/glasses)
How does one drink take longer then the food to come out. As I didn’t see our waitress at all, I notice the manager just chitchatting and my drink sits at the bar for 20 mins! My food comes out and not to mention it wasn’t even our waitress.. I asked if I could finally have my drink. After mid way with our meal our waitress heather comes over and asked if we needed sauce or salt and pepper.. No heather we don’t as we finished the last bit of our food, yes we notice the salt and pepper on the table.. never once mentioned anything about my drink. Not even a apology from anyone. The lack of care was unreal. Not to mention we seen our waitress twice, to take the order and to give us our check.. Unprofessional heather, if you feel like your over sat mention something. Don’t leave your tables feel unwelcome…
I’m not from around here first time coming here order take out and the lady told me I couldn’t order drinks . But another older lady came in and had a to go order and she had drinks. Not to mention the lady that took my order was rude!! I will never come back to this location again.
The saving grace was our wonderful waiter. We went to this Applebee's for my disabled niece's 6th birthday dinner. We had 9 people, 3 with disabilities, and they put us at 2 tables across the isle from each other with seating for 8. We grabbed a chair and put it at the end of the table, we were at the last tables by the back door. A male employee stood by the back door peeking around making comments. Then came over and told us we can't have a chair in the isle, it's against corporate policy. My husband told him, come on the chair isn't out any further than the wall. The employee persisted. My husband said , well then maybe they shouldn't have seated 9 people at tables for 8. The employee says, oh you know there's only 2 tables for large parties here, you been here enough times... It was literally our first and probably our last time we will visit that location. My sister in law told him to go away and stop. He got offended and started making derogatory comments as he walked away. Then went over to a group of other employees and started talking about us, staring at us, had other employees looking at us. He was rude and ignorant and almost ruined my niece's birthday. Our waiter was amazing and made up for his ignorance. He went above and beyond. I have a food issue where I can't eat any meat, garlic, seasonings and had to ask for food cooked special or there was nothing on the menu I could eat. He got me salmon plain grilled, macncheese without bacon, and steamed broccoli dry, butter on the side. All perfect! Kudos to him! Also got employees to come sing happy birthday to my niece. As I said, our amazing waiter was their saving grace, the other employee should find a new line of work...
Stopped in for a bite and drink, parking lot was empty, was told short on staff,45 minute wait, asked if we could wait at bar, no bartender. It would be cheaper to just close the door.
First they could not make a grilled chicken for my gluten sensitive on the kids menu, like always, so we had to order from the adult menu. Second the spinach dip was burnt, we ate it because we where hungry. And third, I order a rack of lambs to probably re-cooked. Because it was extremely dry and was not even able to eat it, but there was no problem char hung for it, very disappointed. It was the worst Applebees I went. Would suggest to go to any other nearby!!!
Came in from out of town. Really great service. Our server Michelle, at the bar section was really attentive and on point. We had drinks ( alot!) And appetizers. Oh and try that dessert, sizzling pecan something!!!!
Went with our grandchildren and they were accommodating to seat us away from other customers. Waitress was great and couldn't do enough for us. Came back multiple times to check on us.
I have only been to this location a handful of times because I live 45 minutes away. But of those times, I have not had any problems. Everything comes out as ordered, drinks were almost always kept full (reasonably so), and the staff has always been happy and friendly.Keep up the great work! Thank you for always making the return trip home just a little easier - with a full tummy!
