I’m not a burger person, but wanted to support a local business so we tried it. So glad we did! The cheeseburger here was great! The quality was excellent - Fresh lettuce, well seasoned patties and soft buns. The spicy fries were awesome too. Definitely coming back and recommending it to other.
I really want to love this place. I like the concept and what they're trying to do. However the wait times are bananas. Even when there have only been 2 cars in front of me I've never gotten in and out in less than 15-20 minutes. Which is crazy given how extremely limited the menu is. Given that they only make a single burger, fries and shakes, it seems they should be able to crank through orders fast. The burgers themselves are pretty decent. I love beef burgers but was excited to find a plant based alternative. The fries and shakes are great! But for the price and limited selection they need to get the wait times way down.
If you want a fast food vegan experience this is it. They only make a few things but they are all great. And the food is consistent. The brownie batter oat shake is my favorite. I also like the hot (spicy) fries seasoning. Their gluten free bun is also good.
Best burger in Kingston has no meat.
Didn’t know it was no meat until a day later. Really good food. Super fresh and delicious. The spicy fries were awesome. Give it a shot I can honestly say i couldn’t tell it was meat free.
I was so excited to try Moonburger, and they did not disappoint! Efficient and friendly service, they got our order completely right, and DELICIOUS food. Such a great impossible burger, with crispy and sautéed onions. Perfect, thin cut fries. Real cheese sauce! Just the right portion. I’m over the MOON! A must stop if you’re hitting Kingston or perfectly located right off of87 on your way to the Catskills- just ahead of your turn onto Route 28. So impressed!
I was just about to jump onto the Thruway with a bit of a grumbly stomach. When I spotted Moonburger. I ordered the "Classic Cheeseburger", "hot fries" and a vanilla milkshake. I was told me total, and i drove around, and was handed a chocolate milkshake. Apparently the guy taking my order didn't hear "vanilla"... but they graciously refunded my $5 and change for a small shake.I got the fries, which were tasty, but we lukewarm at best, and the burger. The special sauce tasted good, I'm not going to lie, and the burger was quite tasty, in the way a Wendy's or BK burger is. I later discovered it is entirely vegetarian, which was a little upsetting that that wasn't made clearer.I know it's in the fine print, but "classic" burger suggests meat. I would say if you're vegetarian, and even if you're not, it certainly was an edible fast-food-quality burger.
Large fry, more like a small fry. Cheese sauce is blah. I waited a long to time to visit Moonburger glad I didn’t have to wait an hour and a half because it sure wasn’t worth it. I’ve been vegetarian 45 years and this was about middle of the taste road for me. I would not get take out from there again. I tried it. I wouldn’t have minded the price if the food was outstanding but it barely made the mediocre spectrum.
Burger was alright, fries were ice cold
I love burgers but can't eat red meat for health reasons. So, anytime I see plant-based options I jump all over it.This was definitely the best take on a plant-based burger I've had. I got the cheeseburger, and I think the double onion and special sauce is what made it shine. Also, maybe the hot fries were the best part? Why is nobody else doing this?! The taste reminds me of BBQ chips and Andy Capp's hot fries, but these are actually spicy. The cheese sauce had a great consistency, and paired well with the hot fries, too.The Brownie Batter shake is pretty good. Certainly better than I thought you could do with only vegan ingredients.Oh - and no wait (around 3 pm on a Saturday).
