The meal was excellent. Everything was cooked very well and it was all extremely delicious. We will definitely be going back asap!
After the terrific Hudson River cruise leaving from the dock below this restaurant, we took the advice of the captain and crew for Mariner's Harbor as a place to continue our wedding anniversary celebration. We could not have been more pleased. The setting was spectacular, the food delicious, the staff friendly, engaging and attentive, quite knowledgeable about the area. If you want a memorable afternoon, the combination of River Cruise and Mariner's Harbor is hard to beat.
Despite a sign asking for our patience due to understaffed, we were seated in a timely fashion at a table looking over the creek. People watching from this vantage was great. The on tap beer selection was not terrific, but adequate. Portobello pasta was tasy as was salad with tuna. Food was served quickly and correctly. We had a lovely dinner.
Order the stuffed shrimp and while it was sort of the expensive they did give a good amount and it was delicious. Great view of the creek. Server could have been better. Never once refilled our water or checked to see how we were doing
Great service! Outside seating is so lovely! Nice view and you could hear the music from the festival. I'm not religious but I did enjoy the waiter timing the arrival of our drinks to the band chanting hallelujah ?? after that the music was meh. They have some kind of rum punch that I HIGHLY recommend! Can walk your meal off at the water afterwards
I had the Shrimp Fresca, it was fantastic. Ever since they reopened, it's been better than ever! My husband had the stuffed shrimp, on the specials, phenomenal. We got a cup of the lobster bisque, which was heavenly. We also split a side salad, which was a very good size, very fresh and a great assortment. Wonderful portions for everything. Do I miss the fresh bread, I do, but the meal was too good to miss it. :)
Great food and friendly staffs. A lot of seating spaces indoor and outdoor. Kids friendly too.
First off, get you someone who looks at you the way my husband looks at Mariner's Crab Cake Sandwich yes, it was way more delicious than it looks & my sesame crusted tuna was perfect. Even though they were super busy, the servers and staff were all very friendly, worked efficiently, and everything came out in a reasonable time. I was SURE there would be a delay (understandably as everyone everywhere is short staffed right now), but nope! Our drinks, app, and entrees came out quickly. Also got a half dozen oysters. Perfect in this summer heat. If you're looking for delicious seafood in Kingston this is the place. We'll be back soon for a lobster dinner!
Excellent sea food restaurant with river views. They play 80s music, so I was chair dancing the entire afternoon. We went to celebrate Leslie Lund's birthday. We loved it. Thank for being so polite and serve exceptional sea food!
This place has really gone down hill. They used to be great, but now they use frozen fish fillets for their fish and chips. The caesar dressing was packaged and very gross. I hope they turn this place around, because the location is nice.
