Always delicious and fresh every time I've gone, whether it's by myself or with friends. I've never been disappointed here. Really kind staff as well.

Great waiter, food, and experience! Right when I walked in all the employees were welcoming. The food was perfectly prepared with no issues. The raw fish was safe and did not cause any problems. The restaurant was clean and very well decorated. The only problem is the menu was a little difficult to navigate. I recommend going here if you want some very nice Japanese cuisine.

The food was delicious as it always is. The staff is wonderful. They take cleanliness very seriously, sanitizing well between customers.

I ordered some rolls form here for the first time last night and had a serious allergic reaction where my eye blew up and my chest broke out in a burning rash. It was 1 AM at this point and thankfully I caught it before going to sleep. I nearly could have died. My girlfriend called on my behalf to get a refund as I am disabled and Rinchen refused to help and demanded to see a hospital bill for a $30 order. Seriously???? Will never come back here.

Great little spot found on the way back from Hunter Mountain back to NYC. Opens at 4:30 for dinner. Delicious food and a good selection of appetizers, sushi and other Japanese food. You get 10% discount if you pay cash which was pretty neat. And they have a good selection of Japanese soda so thats a plus as well.

Sushi is good. You can't order more than one of the same rolls for the lunch special. Which was only mentioned after we ordered and it is not written on the menu. Kind of strange, but other than that good food. If you pay cash you get a 10% discount which was nice.

Honestly one of the best sushi places around. Everyone is so friendly, attentive, and caring. The quality is apparent and they do not let the constant flow of customers take away from that. It’s true that they might be busy at times, yet their quality and professionalism never waivers.

Kyoto is the comfort food place to go for delicious Japanese fare. Can't miss...except Tuesdays, when they are closed!

Liked their vegan sushi options.

Great food and service at a fair price. Rolls were very fresh and the Godzilla roll was a favorite.
