First time stopping in since they renovated the place last year. This spot can get really busy for takeout on a Monday night. Looks like one very quiet person doing the whole kitchen and counter and phones, himself, unless there was someone else in the kitchen. I don’t know if this is the usual Monday gig but I honestly felt the longish wait was worth it. Go nextdoor to the mercado for a donut if you’re feeling impatient. We Decided to dine inside since it felt so clean and everyone else seemed to be taking out. I got the fried fish with yams and beans and it was quite tasty. The fish was crispy crispy but not at all burnt or too greasy. Lots of flavor. Big white onions in the beans which felt stewed and simple instead of baked or sweet. My partner got the crab cakes entree on Mac (they ran out of greens early) with the bananas and they were excellent, imho. He seemed to think the fruit was burnt on the outside but I personally felt the crisp reminded me of blackened fish and had very little actual burnt taste. Perfect in the inside ; tasted almost like plantains.If you’re looking for some nourishing comfort at a true locals’ spot, look no further. Inside was clean with chill vibes and friendly service albeit longer wait than expected. My only complaint is the styrofoam containers but that probably isn’t the staff’s decision,

Idk what’s better the service or the quality! I ordered some wingz, empanadas and Mac. All three were excellent to say the least. Highly recommend!
Ordered 2 empanadas and some Mac and Cheese! Some of the best food I’ve eaten! Enjoyed it all; can’t wait to try more!
Customer service definitely needs some work. I know I was raised to say you’re welcome when someone thanks you but in this case I wasn’t even greeted with a hello. Yams & egg roll’s tasted delicious but my garlic parm wings were burnt, greens came cold, and stew chicken tasted like peppers no other kind of flavor.
I have been wanting to try Kulture for so long and I'm annoyed with myself for waiting...bc this food is hands down some of the most delicious! The chicken had so much flavor. Wow!!
The food is great, But Unfortunately the owner Quazy George and his Investors decided not to pay me for my Labor nor Material Cost of Renovating most of the Restaurant. I have waited a year to speak out in hopes their business would thrive and maybe they would rethink their decision. But Quazy will not answer my calls and refuses to come out of the back of kitchen when i have gone to ask about when i will be paid, i know this because i heard him ask who it was and he told his staff member to tell me he was not there.It's a sad situation because i put my heart into renovating the restaurant, Quazy and i used to work together and even talked about starting a restaurant together so when he told me that he was opening a restaurant in our home town i offered to do the job at half my hourly rate. I built the bar and hand rubbed 7 coats of my own Tung Oil I Special ordered from Vermont into the Yellow Pine Bar top. And now i can't even enjoy my work.I Am not trying to get anyone to Boycott this restaurant as the food is very good, and you would be missing out. I just want to spread awareness that this Small Business was built on stealing from another Small Business.

Huge portions!! Soul food, comfort food!!! Had the Alfredo Chicken for the first time and it was excellent. The chicken fingers are a family favorite and enough food for 2 people! We love the greens, mac n cheese and yams too! Still have to try the juices and so many other things on the menu. I love stepping into Kulture and seeing the enormous thriving plants and murals on the walls celebrating healthy eating and Black ‘Kulture’ Thank you for choosing Kingston Quazy!
