Stopped here traveling back home, great service and lots of food. Loved the diner atmosphere and menu choices.
You can not go wrong here. If you are not sure what to have to eat or if you are looking to go out to eat and not sure where to go Dietz Diner is a great place. They have all the same diner food you would expect. Great staff. Great location. I like there milkshakes which I really think are made with real ice cream not that fake stuff that other places make there milkshakes from. If you are hunger one day and looking for something to eat this is your place.
Above average diner food! Extensive menu! We had Chk Cordon Bleu and the greek sampler plate. Both excellent. Side salad extremely fresh, fries, potato salad yummy! Strongly suggest a visit! Oh and the prices is VERY reasonable.
We had a wonderful experience at this diner. The food was served quickly. Everything was made fresh. The chips were made fresh to order. The milkshake was delicious. The waitress allowed me to make changes to the meal I was ordering. The prices are amazing. The menu is lengthy but has options for everyone. This is a must visit diner! There is even outdoor seating!
We stopped in close to closing time and were greeted warmly. The food was delicious and the service was great. Pictured is the Athenian Panini. Just like a gyro but as a panini. Highly recommend!

Pretty good food. The staff is what makes the difference. Super friendly place and OMG a lot of food. If I lived in the area, I would frequent this place often.
This diner used to be amazing. I've been coming here 25 years. After the third blunder in a row, and when I told the wife of the family owned business She was rude, She talked over Me, and would interject smart comments. I didn't raise my voice or anything and She got all loud and panicked, seemingly to get sympathy which She didn't receive. Again I've gone here over 25 years and I've never felt so disrespected.
The best damn diner in all of Kingston from every angle! Whether it be meal quality, meal quantity, meal price, service, menu selection, hours of operation this place is at the very top of the rating gauge when compared to every other diner in Kingston! You will definitely be satisfied and you will definitely re-visit this place over and over! It is like diners of yesterday where service, quality, affordability and customer satisfaction are the driving factors that keep customers returning and satisfied! Go for it - you will not regret it ever!
Once in awhile you find a place that exceeds all expectations, and this wonderful diner is on my short list. The menu promises to “treat you like family” and that’s no lie. From extraordinary service (ask for Isabel) to the portions that could feed an army, Dietz’ is a must. My daughter claimed her French Dip was “the best I’ve ever had” and my meatloaf came with so many extras, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. Cone hungry!
