Great food. Down to earth staff/customer service
Don't bother eating here. The service is not good and the food isn't as good as the service. Don't bother to ask for salsa, because you aren't going to get any. I had the carnitas tacos. Hey! Where's the carnitas? It's under the cilantro, silly!
I would say that I really enjoyed my ultimate margarita here. It was well done, and had just the right effect. There was an advertised offer of 3 tacos for $8 which I went for. The tacos were quite small so don't expect to get full if you get those alone. However, if you happen to be in JFK Terminal 5 and craving a margarita, look no further.
Tacos were good. Server worked her cell phone better than the counter. Watched my server duck behind a register terminal to text and chat while I waited to order prior to my flight. Gave up after a few min and went to take out counter. Taco was salty by edible.
Ordered two carnitas tacos. They are bite sized and the tortillas were stale and tasted like cardboard. Not recommended.
I would have liked to say that I tried the food and drink, but I did not. After sitting for 6 minutes and not getting any attention, I went back to the host desk were a discussion along the lines of " she better not try that on me" was going on between 2 staff. They told me it would be just a minute longer. When the 3rd person in the place came out of the back and joined the conversation , I took a look around and say allot of tables with empty glasses and no food, so I walked out of the place after wasting 10 minutes. It's an airport and I had 45 minutes, so the one star was due to the lack of service and the rushed lunch I had to have at the next place.
Place is slow, expensive, and lame. We waited an hour for 3 tiny tacos that ended up being the wrong orders. My partner is also vegetarian, ordered 3 avocado tacos and for some reason one of them was a meat taco. Wait staff didn’t seem to care. Waited longer for our correct food and decided to pay for our drinks and leave. Just bring food to the airport
Overall great experience. Went around 2pm. Went in for the advertised taco combo but not all options were available today. We still got tacos (chicken, pork, and beef) and all were great. Those are specifically a small portion so if classify is more as an appetizer. We also split the Chicken Milanese Torta which was delicious and not a traditional tasting Milanese. Great and friendly server.
Ordered a bowl of soup for $9, picturing a nice sized hearty bowl of soup. It was only about 2 cups of soup, tops. Very small and lukewarm. Pleasant flavors. Restaurant was dirty...needs a thorough cleaning.
