Meal was nothing like it was advertised. Had barbecued chicken: chicken was brown, looked and tasted nothing like barbecued chicken. I'm not even sure it was chicken. Looked more like ox-tails to me. Atmosphere was not pleasant.

I ordered a small soup (Jamaican soup has dumplings and corn and meat etc, which is in the container behind the glass as I could see before ordering). However what I got was just soup water no food whatsoever I think the server did that on purpose . The guy serving (older light complexion) was rude and it seem as if he was doing us a favor than him doing his Job and serving paying customers. Your employees are a reflection of you and if the employee is rude it does not reflect well on the business. I have been buying at this place for years and never had any issues. But today I am upset. I paid for Jamaican Soup and what I got served is not that.

Coming home from the hopital not feeling mood my driver took me here knowing im jamaica man!!!! I was not disappointed i bought a whole supply of food and what i have used so far is delicious ? thanks guys everything is good will be seeing more of me i promise

I usually don’t get their roti but everything else is good so I ordered and received this Disrespectful plate of steamed cabbage in roti skin! Not a dash of curry! This needs to be removed from the menu asap!!! Very disappointed.

The stew peas is always good, had it twice and wasn't disappointed at all. The okra and salt was on point. I was pleased with the service they offer. Thank you guys!

If you looking and having the cravings for good authenic Jamaica west Indian food then have no worries this restaurant is the place to go.

It was my first time going there. I had jerk chicken which I was did not reality care for. It wasn't seasoned like the jerk chicken from other restaurants I've been to. After I tasted the chicken, I sauteed onions and peppers, added my own seaonings, cut up the legs in small pieces and added them in. Now THAT fixed the problem. The chicken soup was a definite "naaah". It had a distinct taste in there that made it horrible, like it was in some kind of chemical container because that taste could not have been from the seasoning.I reall wanted to like their food because my girlfriend told me their food was good, so I took a 20 min ride to go there to get food just to get home and be disappointed.Maybe this was just a one time disappointment, but I'm not leaving my house to go back there.

I being going to port royal me and my family for a long time and I always walk out there with a good energy until earlier today I stopped there for breakfast, there was this Jamaican dark skin lady saying she was a manager or supervisor she's wearing a glasses she was my server her attitude was so dirty and dis respectful...only because I ordered liver and fry dumpling she ask which of the liver I want I ask her to mix bought of them she say she can't do that it have to be one are the other I told her I buy the same thing like so often and every one serves me like that then she starts get real rude, so from now on me and my family will no longer be going there for food

Great taste lived vegetarian options. Best Ital stew ever.

CUSTOMER BE AWARE - 2 weeks ago, my husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time based on some of the other reviews. To be quite honest, the food was good and tasty. So my sister and I visited the next week, as I was excited to show off our 'newly found Jamaican Spot', so we went and purchased about 5 different meals for the family.Unbeknown to us, the food was cooked with peanut oil or cooked with peanuts for flavoring. My husband is ALLERGIC to NUTS!!! And so, he immediately had the worse case of allergic reaction and we had to call the ambulance and rush him to the hospital. He was in the emergency unit for quite sometime. He was already changing color, lips swollen, tongue swollen, distorted speech, hot body, scratching all over his body, hives already pumped up high on his body - not leaving out how scared and frantic we all were!!!I later called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager to ask them if they did cook with or marinated with peanuts and if so, why don't they have a 'Nuts Disclaimer' in their restaurant? The person that answered the phone 'D' said that he was the manager, but as I started to tell him of our 'grave' matter, he asked me to hold on to speak with the manager 'A'.So after holding for about 4 minutes on the phone he came back on the phone and continued from where he had left of, forgetting that he had asked me to hold on to speak with manager 'A'.He apologized for what had happened (not refuting the fact that peanuts or peanut oil was used to cook the food) and wished my husband well.Though it was an unfortunate situation, it should be stated in their restaurant that NUTS are in their menu for the people who are allergic to nuts.THIS IS A CAUTIONARY REVIEW!
