Very very disappointed with their customer service. Extremely rude. Told us to keep our umbrella on a designated umbrella spot and ours got stolen from there. And they refuse to take responsibility. We respected their rule but they didn't respect the value of our items. Not only that, they were rude about it and were disrespectful to my parents.
Amazing food. Large portions.Friendly staff.Don't let the plain decor fool you.This is a hidden gem.Their biryani is amazing.Got some kick to it. Honestly doesn't need anything with it.We had beef curry on the side. Extremely flavorful. Tender meat.
Their haleem is really good. Snacks are okay. I tried their chicken Tikka masala which is average. Most of these restaurants don't know the difference between chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken. They normally give you chicken Tikka masala which is little bit more of butter chicken. Their paratha is huge. Their beef curry is average for Bengali restaurant. Their mughlai is so so and naan is okay. Overall, an average Bengali restaurant. I am giving 4 because of haleem or else it is 3.
Alert!!!!!!!!! Health warning @healthdepartment I don’t know how you guys let this business stay open. This is the 4th time getting food from them and every single time this restaurant gives old food. Food that I don’t know how to serve their customers. People come to your restaurant to spend money so you can stay open and every you make your customers feel worthless. It’s not about money but it is about the money people work hard for. They spend those money to buy something good from you. I don’t know who’s the is the owner of this restaurant but whoever he has, he is not a human. I don’t know what qualifications he has to open a restaurant. There is no point of writing this or even going up to them to say anything because they don’t care. No one knows who’s leading this place but you guys aren’t human. I couldn’t stop myself to come out here and say this cause this is going out of hand and whoever is going there I want you guys to think 100 times before you buy anything from them. Please please share this with your family. I wish I was able to write this in bangla as well.
Interior decoration is nice but food quality is gross. It is just wastage of money to eat on this restaurant. Workers sell the rotten or bad quality food telling like the food are fresh. Just avoid this restaurant . It is like welcoming stomach problems to eat food from this restaurant.
The most worst Halim I ever had was here. It was very tasty before for some reason all foods are now having different tastes. Once I was given burnout Singara & the associate didn't bother to check it ?
Ordered alu chop which is supposed have egg in it, that's why they were more expensive, but there weren't any.
The quality of the Kacchi biriyani “baby goat” (but actually old goat) went from a 10 to -10. The rice smelled old, it was full of potatoes and rice not meat. This was our favorite biriyani place pre-Covid. Even the shingara was stale. I’m very sad and disappointed at the quality of food they serve now. I won’t be going back there again.
I recommend for everyone this is one of the nasty resturant in nyc,,,,,we got a insect in food. Bengali people shouldn’t go right there. Food & Service worst. Only positive side eating area was clean and calm.Quality of food below standard compare to near by other restaurant. Order to serve food total very bad experience. Finally surprised me bottle of water they charge $1/- and cup of tea also $1/-. Just one example of ripping. Anyway suggestion avoid this restaurant as with in block plenty of choices and much better food and services.
