Ordered a chicken curry and specifically asked for all breast parts and let the server know I would pay more if needed. When I got home not one breast part there. Frustrated, I took it back and asked why I didn’t get any breast parts and the server replies we only do leg and thighs ?. I said no worries, just exchange it for something else, she said ‘they can’t do that, maybe I could give someone”. They deliberately gave me something I did not want and refused to swap it out for something else.
Their food is good especially their house special fried rice but the staff (some of them) can be a bit more friendly! There's no harm in smiling ?
I ordered chicken curry for the first time not expecting the meat would be so largely cut. It didn’t look appetizing at all. The chicken curry should be consistent as shown on the buffet. I was shocked and ended up throwing it away. If cutting the meat in large pieces gives the impression that it’s a lot then it’s the wrong impression. I’ve never seen meat cut in such large pieces. Please consider changing in the future.Thank you!
I have been going to Big Well for years now and when it comes to the customer service, they completely changed for the WORST!!!Every time you go there to place an order there is one rude employee behind the counter - she is always loud and speaks to you with an attitude. When you ask her for price or how they sell their food, always rushes you. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND NUISANCE TO THE CUSTOMERS !!II guess it’s more important to make money off the customers who are supporting your business than providing them with great customer service.A side from the rudeness; they always forget or misplace your order. There have been two occasions where I have placed orders with them days in advance - when I call the day of to pick up my order I am told that they “can not find my order” or I have to wait until they find my order. If they are able to find my order, I am told that I have to pay a different price because the person who took my order gave me wrong price. Is it my fault as the customers that the employees do not know the correct price. Huge business integrity issue and the office of Better Business Bureau should be informed.It’s a shame that the owner is fully aware of his employees behavior with the customers and he does NOTHING!!! And I know for a fact that he knows what his employees are doing and he supports their fraudulent business behaviors.Anyone that is reading this review can understand that when it comes to supporting our local business, we as consumers are trying our best to deal with “old country” mentality of customer service, but that approach needs to change.
I bought a large curry dish and when I opened it, the container had less than the amount in a small order! You guys need to stop selling day old food. Its easy for people to see and taste that it was made a day or days prior.
Quality is very important when it comes to food. In my opinion their prices are not bad. I would spend a few extra dollars for quality food. I rate them a 2 stars 1 for halal and 1 for price. Food isn't tasty at all. Roti is terrible especially when cooled off. Everything in the front glass case are cold and or stale. Their competitors on the other hand is very expensive but the taste is amazing and that's why the lines are always long at the other business.Quality and great food is what people want and the customer wouldn't mind to spend a few extra for a well cooked and tasty Roti and curry ?
Okay let me just say I came all the way from Jersey and went to this place because I was craving some Guyanese food. The food is okay but the staff is so rude one of the staff told me I shouldn’t wear black nail polish. Because it’s not good for me I had to laugh in her face. I told her just do your job and keep your comments to yourself . I’ve never experienced such bad customer service. Please train your staffs to be professional because you will keep losing customers.

This place has great products and terrible staff. They can't do simple arithmetic and always have their own private conversation going on. The space directly behind the counter is very small and too many of these staff members clustered in that space.My favorite is when you are standing in line and waiting your turn. One of their friends comes in they open the door leading to their kitchen area and hand their friends a bag and collect cash and their friends leave. Meanwhile you are standing in line and watching the parking on your car. Sad. Pathetic and really bad for business!
For all of my events big or small, I can say i always depend on Bigwell to satisfy the tastebuds of my guests. The house special and hot wings are my personal favorite alongside the jerk chicken. I don’t know why there are bad reviews I personally love their food. They have the best curries on liberty. The taste of everything is impeccable! Here are some pics of their food.
