I believe this is the only Lounge in 8th Terminal (I might be wrong)\\nI'm not visiting lounges very often, but this time I had 12 hour lay over, so from 7 am till 5 pm on Sunday I spent here.\\nBuffet has not a lot of options in the morning, but what they have is actually tastes good. I had omlette with 4 cheese and spinage. Lunch menu was a bit more varietive.\\nLounge has a lot of drink options, comfy seats, quiet zone, showers, good bathrooms, fast wifi.\\nWas not too crowded at first, closer at 2pm more people start coming, however it was still not disturbing.\\nCost for that is 150$\\n\\nI wish they could have a nap zones, that someone like me who has very long lay overs had a chance to lay down. Even for an extra cost.

Food offerings not as plentiful as before Covid, but they do have plenty of champagne. Lounge was busiest after 3:00. By 4:00 it was hard to find a seat. Staff were working hard to keep tables clean and food replenished.

Excellent place to relax in between flights. Great space, quiet area, phone booth for private calls, great food and drinks. They'll announce your flight and boarding status on the speakers as well.

Nothing special, just another airport facility, with few food places most of them relatively expensive. It's a busy place. As usual American airlines staff is not particularly helpful. My last flight gate, was changed three times.

Self service open bar, full buffet, canned and bottled beverages. Well equipped showers. Really solid lounge to kill a couple of hours.

After 10 pm almost everything is closed. I was there 3 hours before my overseas flight and I was not able to buy any food or drink. What is good: there are several water fountain to refill your bottles with cold water and the security check was fast and gentle.

Much better than many US airlines lounges. Still comes short of the lounges like Turkish, Emirates and the BA Lounge. Open buffet food as well as ability to order from the menu. Good choice of drinks. It was quite busy on a Friday afternoon

I'm not quite sure what's up with American Airline but it seems they're the only airline that doesn't have a lounge for first class ticket holders, you must join some form of club. For the numerous flight issues, shortage of staff and on-time performance rating, they should amend this. After the fiasco on April 14th @LGA (major flight delays and cancelations), they canceled my return flight home without notifying me. It took 3-4 hours for customer service agent Will to make numerous phone calls to rebook my flight to get home days later.. I give American Airline a 4 star for the patience of their service reps.

For being a flagship lounge it's pretty small. And it's also too crowded... No lockers to leave luggage and the toilets were nasty. The water pressure in the showers were catastrophic. No bloody Mary mixer, some of the staff were more interested in talking to each other or of their phone instead of working. The coke machine was empty on almost all tastes. Some of the tables were left uncleaned for 30 minutes. The view of Manhattan was the highlight. Food was good and they had some staff that seemed to know how to serve guests in a good way (woman serving mimosas yesterday 2 April).

Very comfortable and not busy on my visit. Great views onto the airport from two angles. Large bar area with complimentary nuts and cherry sours. Nicely stocked and adequate bar for a charge. Again the selection of food was adequate, a couple of soups, some bbq pulled pork sliders with lots of accompaniments and some cookies and other sweet treats and a hot drinks machine, there was also iced tea and water, all these complimentary. There is also a food menu that ordered and paid for through your phone. Showers that I didn't use and well maintained toilets.
