Like any other Wegman's, this store felt clean and had many food options. Considering the time of year, the fresh fruit was pretty good. The pricing was a little high, but I don't know anywhere else in the area to compare it to. There was definitely enough food/grocery selection. The lunch food was probably better than anything else in the area.
Hot buffet was delicious as always! Friendly and helpful staff. Upstairs dining area was very clean.
First time at any Wegmans. I'm impressed. Well stocked with many items. Great Fruit/Vegetables section, very good frozen section, many open check out registers. Good parking.
First visit was early, around breakfast. Coffee was so bad I had to throw it out and go elsewhere for breakfast. Second visit was late lunch and the sushi was not great. Late bought some peaches for later consumption and they were among the best I have ever had.
Wegman's is nice place to visit (especially since we do not have one in our local area). In addition to doing some light grocery shopping we also purchased some of their pre-made meals (fried rice and Singapore curry) and also ordered 20 fresh-made garlic parmesan wings. All was good!
We got takeout because it was close to our hotel. The food was tasty and fresh. The employees were courteous. I still wonder how this is the number 1 restaurant in Ithaca.
We picked up some special desserts here one night! Cream puffs and chocolate cake. Quality store for everything!
If you like eating in a grocery store, then you'll be happy at America's No. 1 grocery store, Wegmanns. There isn't too much that you can't find at this fine establishment. From sandwiches to full meals, and from many countries, this can just be your cup of tea; they have that too. Give it a try sometime, and you might as well fill your shopping list while there.
If you are careful, you can get a good meal here for an affordable price. By careful, i mean selecting well and being careful with weight because that's how they charge at their buffet. It isn't the place to get lots of heavy noodles! We've never had food that wasn't excellently prepared and seasoned from Wegmans. We use their subs as "travel food". We can eat for at least two days! We also have never been treated poorly by a Wegmans employee, or really even by most of their customers.
I always wanted to write a review to thank them for their sushi section... but this place is great and I always just go here to buy produce and food!
