Good quality food with friendly really efficient service. Dine inside, sit outside, or a whole line just for take out. In the center of Ithaca for the vibe of crunchy care about the earth where tacos aren’t the only things that are crunchy.

Love their Sangria. Nice to get your drink at the bar while you are waiting for your table. They are able to serve Gluten Free entries. Too bad, the tortilla chips aren't fried in a dedicated GF fryer. Had to skip the chips and salsa.

Understandably refused to serve a party of three plus a small breed service animal outside because of rain, but there was a party of three outside already. Also asked to leave because of the service animal. I mentioned that it was a service animal and was asked what service specifically.. we left, but I highly suggest the higher ups let staff know that it is not lawful to ask for details or documentation like that especially in somewhere like a restaurant. Hopefully I get to try those nachos next time!

This hit the spot after a day of hiking. A refreshing double margarita, chips and a trio of salsas and guac were perfect starters. My husband enjoyed his quesadilla and hard shell taco. I had a black bean taco with a side of pickled vegetables - outstanding. Highly recommend!

Looking for a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant for our first night in Ithaca. Good food. Good Margaritas. Enthusiastic wait staff. But folks, give us tortilla chips on the house!!!

Demanding to see a vaccination card in order to be seated is 100% discrimination. Used to love this restaurant. Will not eat here again.

When returning to Ithaca post-graduation, Viva was the first spot my husband and I had to hit up. I feared that my memory of their nachos were better than they would be upon returning but I was wrong! The Macho Nachos were, and still are, the best nachos I have ever had. It is THE item to get here. Don't leave without ordering it. They also have vegan nachos, which I haven't tried, but they sounded delicious!I also got The Purist margarita and it was delicious. Our waiter recommended it as something less sweet and it totally hit the mark. The service was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was helpful in guiding our choices, super friendly, and attentive to checking in on us.Viva is my favorite restaurant in Ithaca and I cannot recommend those nachos enough!

I love this spot! The staff are lovely and attentive, and the food is really good without being too pricey. The best foil burrito I've had in upstate NY, the beef in it is so good! Service is fast considering how busy they can get. Be prepared to wait if you're there at a peak time with a larger party, but their estimates seem to be longer than it actually takes to get a table (most recently, we were told 40 minutes and it ended up being about 20).

Where do I begin.... They actually give you the same amount of toppings for your nachos, along with plenty of cheese. The burritos will fill u up for an amazing price of about 9 bucks. Also, the tacos are a great side dish. 10/10.

Service was fine. However, the food is average, if not below average. Lacked authentic Mexican flavor and sides like rice and beans were dry. The pickled carrots and beets, an unusual addition to the entrees, tasted raw and may have been presented merely for presentation. Would not recommend for fine dining.
