Quiet and a decent bar, gives you more space to talk to your friends. Definitely recommended if you like a calm vibe with a bar.

A very pleasant bar with books to read. What makes this place unique are the notes in the brick walls. You can sit and enjoy hours of reading random notes written by strangers. The restroom even offers amenities! The only negative is the additional bartender commission on top of the gratuity.

Wonderful owners and employees, they know what they’re doing. Great drink and small snack choices. Wonderful, relaxed, but “grown up” atmosphere. *The* place for catching up with a friend, or drinking tea while working on your laptop, or a first Tinder date for 30-somethings.??. The Downstairs offers more seating and increasingly regular entertainment options - check it out.

Came on just to throw a positive review to balance out the folks who have been living under a rock long enough to not realize there is an ongoing pandemic, but got an absolute kick out of the person who gave a one-star for this bar being evidence of the "extinction of men."Anywho, the Watershed is a nice little lounge perfect for chatting or relaxing, (the Skarlotka is always great.) If you're looking for, as "Men Are Extinct" was, a sports bar, or a place to grab a Labat Blue, go to one of the countless "bars" in the area instead of a cocktail lounge.

I was at The Downstairs that is attached to the Watershed. It's a totally different bar and I have to say it's a really cool spot! I do Comedy open mic every 1st and 3rd Tues. Come hang out, meet some really cool people and meet some upcoming comedians trying out new material. The only thing you will regret is not coming to check it out at least once.

Had a Great night here... downstairs was open mic night for comedians. Thanks to the promoter Comedy On The Commons great upcoming standup comedians come out and share some really cool stuff we can laugh about. The owners Ms. Cake is a beautiful person as well. The open mic comedy is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm. Great time to stop in and have a drink and a giggle or two.

I can not fully articulate what a breath of fresh air this space is. For the first time in over a year I felt comfortable sitting indoors. Vaccinated and all I still have my own health issues and have no interest in risking my well being or that of those around me. From the moment you walk in you see how intentionally and mindfully this space is set up. Spaced out tables, tasteful plastic barriers between each seating area, and don't even get me started on the delightful array of booze and booze free beverages. Absolute perfection!

Awesome, chill, low-key bar with awesome service and good vibes. Menu was very well curated for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Would definitely recommend especially if your group is both drinking and non-drinking. Plus, they let us bring in our food.

This place is still using perspex dividers between tables which have long been shown to be largely ineffective against airborne viruses. Following the science but only if it is their science I guess. Manager/owner of this place is also very active in responding to reviews and seems to enjoy personally attacking any review that is critical of the bar. Seems that a few people working here have large egos. Finally, the mandatory 20% service fee is not tasteful. Why not rather just increase the base prices by 20% and pay your workers a living wage.

Cool space, great cocktails. Service was kind of cold, but it didn't affect overall positive experience.
