I ordered the pepper and garlic and the chicken was extremely dry with very little taste. I’ve been ordering this for many years and have never had issues and when I called about it they laughed it off. Horrible customer service.
As a loyal customer of Tamarind for 4+ years, I am NEVER going back! I had a pick up order, when I arrived, the woman owner said to me:"I know it's a pickup order, but most people pay tip, you didn't pay tip this time, so tip next time." That offended me as a customer. First of all, in a pickup order, I received NO service from waiters, so why should I pay tip? Tip to whom? Even if other customers left tip, that's not a valid reason for me to pay for the ZERO service I received. I am in no legal or moral or social obligation to pay tip. Second, the fact that I was straight up demanded to pay tip by this woman is outrageous and super offensive. Finally, on top of that freaking attitude, they messed up my order, they forgot to give me my drink, and they gave me the wrong dish. Just absolutely diabolical.
Take out only. Pad thai good, chicken satay excellent, the yum woon sen salad spectacular. Thai iced tea delicious and a bargain at 3 bucks
This location resells contaminated food to compensate for their own mistakes. If they “mishear” your order they will not replace it with the correct dish just insist that IF they cannot resell it, (for me, that was because of spice level) you must foot the cost of righting their wrong and pay MORE. I have spent too much money here and refuse to go back. I would like to also note that it was pad Thai that they incorrectly gave me and I’m ALLERGIC to peanuts in such quantity. I didn’t make them aware of this but I shouldn’t have had to. they didn’t even offer me a refund, and expected me to give them more money for the dish I ordered, ludicrous. And customer service has been failing to satisfy as of late.
Edit: Food finally arrived after 2.5 hours and was, of course, cold.I ordered food via doordash, phoned after waiting 1.5 hours and given the number of the driver and told to call. I text the driver, no response. After 10 more minutes I contact doordash who get the same runaround by the restaurant and the driver ignores their calls. Conclusion after waiting over 2 hours I never received my food but, luckily, doordash refunded me and gave me doordash credits. Luckily I ordered through doordash as otherwise I am sure the restaurant would never refund me or deliver my order. How is it possible they cannot contact the driver themselves to work out where the order is? Completely ridiculous.
This is our go to for an inexpensive unplanned dinner when we suddenly want something to take home. Great for lunch or dinner. Eat here very frequently. Try it
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!They told me one price then when I went to confirm they lied and wanted more money!!! The prices listed on line are NOT the prices they charge!!!! When I nicely questioned she got EXTREMELY RUDE and HIUNG UP on me!!!!I don’t care how good their food may be, which has definitely gone down hill lately, but to treat customers in such an unprofessional manner is just not acceptable. I can only hope this review serves to let their owners know that unless they start training their personnel about proper customer service and respectful manners, they will be losing a lot of business . I proceeded toorder from Taste of Thai Express who was more than happy to take my order both pleasantly and respectfully.Goodbye Tamarind not only will I NEVER do business with you again, but I will tell the many others I know of just how despicable you are to your customers. .

This place is fantastic. The first time I went for takeout I had to wait in line for 20 min for pickup and was a bit irritated. But when we ate it, I said I’d wait an hour for this! Wow. Love it. Have been twice in a month.
Tamarind is my favorite place to get take out! I usually order the pineapple fried rice or pad Thai and always ALWAYS get the Thai iced tea. The food is exceptional and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!
