My husband grew up in the area and has always loved Sal's. We now live across the country but always come back to eat here when we visit. It's the style of pizza he compares all others to! For those who haven't had it - it's a thin style crust and it may not be ideal for those that have to watch their grease intake. But the flip side of that is it's pretty tasty if you like that!
Wow!!! What a great find!! Just received delivery of boneless wings with garbage can sauce, tastes home made, tossed salad, which was actually Fresh, ( too often is prepackaged) garlic cheese bread was amazing , 1 large 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni, great crust, sauce and fresh cheese. Delivered to slip at Marina, delivery person was polite and friendly.

Winter weather caused us to add a day in Ithaca after a concert. And we needed dinner, but going out didn't sound like fun. The lovely woman at the front desk at the Fairfield Inn sent us to Sal's Pizzeria. We got simple fare: a Pepperoni pizza and a tossed salad. Ingredients were fresh, the crust of the pizza flavorful, adequately sauced but not swimming. It was delivered in good condition and in a timely manner. Warmed us body and soul on a wintry day.
