The coffee at Press Cafe is consistently great, the staff here takes coffee seriously and maintains very high standards. The space is clean and crisp, a rarity in Ithaca, and if you can't find a seat inside the Press Bay Alley and Press Bay Court areas are great to poke around while enjoying your morning pick me up.

Best espresso (blend only) and iced Matcha latte we found in Ithaca. Quick service and beautiful shop. Nice tables outside, part of a cool development with other unique stores. A bit more expensive than other coffee shops we tried in town, but worth the price if you are looking for a third-wave café. They feature multiple local roasters.
Good coffee but really impersonal service… every time I come here to order I get the attitude that the servers feel they are doing me a huge favor by taking my order…. esp the female server… not even telling me when I can pay for my drink or when it’s done and just standing there in dead silence even when I ask a question… dunno what I did to piss em off ?good product but not even the hippest coffee shops in NYC get by with this level of attitude anymore!

I go to Press Cafe all the time, and while I love it, it's seemingly never open - I don't know how they make rent. Illogical hours - closed ALL Sunday, and most of Saturday. That's when people have time to go out! Staff could also shake off their early-2000's "too cool to care" hipster attitude. It's really dated, and it was never polite or helpful. Over the years there have been great staff - don't get me wrong - but I haven't seen them in a long time. All that being said, it's a gorgeous little place, and the espresso coffees are great. I just wish it was a little more open - they'd get more of my money.
