We were in the area and looking for a quick NY style pizza and I’m pleased to say this hit the spot. We ordered an 18inch margherita and meat lovers and both were delicious. Service was really good also. Bonus was that we got to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening. Recommend!
From the moment I walked in, I just knew from the smell I could tell it was a great pizza shop. The pizza was amazing and the salad was very fresh also. Great little shop and we are not from Ithaca but I'm sure if we are in the area again we will make a stop again @ Ned's Pizza ?
Enjoyed the eggplant pizza so much, crust was the perfect bendyness. Chicken wings were a little dry but good. Salad was nicely done, will definitely order again
I have ordered from Ned's a handful of times recently and the pizza has always been good. Switched up from my normal order, to Buffalo chicken pizza and it far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be getting it again.
Pizza by the slice was fast and fresh! Excellent lunch service with a smile
I thought the pizza was great, my wife not so much.Atmosphere was not-so-much -- there were only 6 tables, and 3 of those had pizza boxes piled high on them. A fourth had photography gear spread out on top. That left 2 tables to sit at.I'd go back. I don't think my wife would . . .
I've been buying pizza here for nearly 20 years. But no more. Since Ned stepped back, the pizza quality has gone down noticeably, though it's still better than most other pizza places around. The biggest problem nowadays seems to be dishonesty. I've been overcharged by a couple of bucks the last 3 times I've placed an order. One or two times, mistakes happen, but 3 times in a row looks like the current staff have a systematic overcharge scheme in place.
I had known Ned since he was in downtown Ithaca when he first opened. It's STILL the best pizza in town! Tonight I got half Hawaiian and half eggplant parm. It's just as good as it ever was...the new owners..whoever they are... are doing right by Ned! ❤?
Pros: I have been here a couple times and I have to say I really enjoy going when I can. They get you in and they get you out of the way. I mean that in a good way. You pick your slices or a whole pie and they stick it in the oven and it comes out crispy at the bottom with a crispy crust ? I'm big on customer service as well and they were nice all while being friendly as they moved to the next customer.Cons: There were pizza boxes out where the customers were. I understand about space so I give it a pass. Also the tables were not clean....but again I believe they were just busy and didn't get a chance to clean them. I didn't complain I just cleaned the table off and my husband and I enjoyed our pizza date?Only reason I gave a con this time is because I know people that are very particular about where they eat and this is something that would have bother them. But if you are willing to look past it you'll enjoy some great pizza.Ned's is definitely worth the stop for a slice or two.
Wow! My first time at Ned's was today. Had a slice of plain cheese pizza. Outstanding! The crust was light and exactly the right firmness - chewy in spots (where it was perfect) and crispy in spots (where it was also perfect).Since I moved to Ithaca, I'd believed good pizza did not live here. Now I know where to get it, and I can't wait to get a whole pie. I'm dreaming of the next bite.I've enjoyed great pizza in NYC and in Italy. Now I'm pleased I can add Ned's to the list. Thank you for being so good - and nice, as well.
