Gola Osteria is a fabulous restaurant. Chef Sam is an incredible chef and his food is fantastic. I have had almost everything on the menu and every time it is delicious. This time there were squash blossom appetizers that were exquisite. The staff all are so helpful and kind. This is one of my all time favorite restaurants!

The terrace is a charming space. The service was wonderful, and the food was very good, needs a little upgrade on the flavors, the meal was kinda bland. Donât let that stop you. Itâs my taste, but be sure to try Gola.

Not being from Ithaca, or familiar with Cornell we had a little difficulty finding the restaurant. It is located in what seems to be student housing which I found a little odd. A sign outside would have. been helpful. That said, the pasta was really good and the portions are huge.
We had a wonderful server, Michelle, who made our dinner such a nice experience! The food is the best! We all had different pasta dishes and mussels for an appetizer to share, just perfect!! (One misstep was the grilled octopus appetizer, so just skip that as it was overdone, not much flavor).
This is my favorite restaurant in town, menu wise and setting. The service is always good and the specials are amazing. The eggplant appetizer a must. Repeat customer.
Best Italian in Ithaca Iâve tried so far. I like the isolation of the restaurant. Food was just so good - a perfect hideaway.
Return Visit ~ the seasonal appetizers stuffed squash blossoms & grilled octopus were perfectly prepared! Homemade pasta with fresh corn and smoked bacon was so delicious. Our service was excellent! We look forward to our next visit.
