Gimme! Coffee is without a doubt the best coffee shop in Ithaca. Their mochas are the stuff of legend.This particular shop on Cascadilla St also has a great selection of baked treats (the espresso brownie is my recommendation!)
As I wait in a line of one other person, I listen to a conversation about the "art" of cold brew coffee, like it was a PhD dissertation, as two other employees are also behind the counter. Suffice to say, it took about 10 minutes to NOT be served as I walked out on the trustafarian, hipsters!
Chai and a snack....perfect: chai was from a homemade mix, so nice balance of sweet n spicy. Atmosphere laid back but suoerfocussed. my future second home.
Really good espresso drinks. The coffees aroma is just incredible. One of the best I have had anywhere.
Stopped here on my only morning in Ithaca - had a delicious latte and scone. Bonus: they have lots of gorgeous plants inside and a 10% discount if you bring your own mug, and only a short walk from the Cascadilla Gorge trail. Glad I stopped in!
