First time going and I was impressed ❤️ Because I didn't know what to order I asked the staff and I ordered a chicken Philly sub and some chocolate chip cookie with some pasta and it was amazing! It was so good I returned the following week in order something else and then ordered another pasta they got a bag of chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chip cookies are so so so good! I will just go back for those alone. Anyway looking for something good stop there prices are pretty reasonable for subs.
Ordered a medium and it was gigantic and delicious. They don't skimp you on the meat. Great place, will return.
Ive been going to their other locations for about an 30 years. No matter which one you go to, I find their subs the best. Custom made, choice of bread, any toppings, cheeses or condiments you want. It's your recipe that makes it special. Well worth it
You can tell when you bite into the sub that they source quality ingredients. Children's boxes are awesome too. Place was clean, food was good, and good staff. Easy in and out for parking.
The food is mediocre, better than subway for the price but what really grinds my gears is the $2 charge to get a pickle on the side with your sub. Firehouse gives you that for FREE, and even if you don't want to give it away... $2?!!! Come on, let's be reasonable, thats ridiculous. One sub was also missing one of the toppings but I'm less perturbed about that, mistakes happen.
I gave this place 4 stars because the subs are slightly pricy but, excellent service, delicious food and it's like always dead in there. Great place if you want to scarf down an after hike meal in peace.
Stopped in and motorcoach was out front. 8:20pm on a Tuesday night. Ladies softball team with a solid 20 women in line ordering dinner. The three behind the counter, slammed making food for these women and the trip back to Oneonta. One guy who I can’t remember his name was like… I’ll squeeze your sub order in so you don’t have to wait a half hour. Took my order and 5 minutes later… boom, sub and paid and out the door. Excellent customer service and the way it should be. He saw a problem that he could solve without a major disruption. Sometimes you can’t train for that but he should teach others situational awareness and how to adapt to keep everyone happy. Best crew in customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I travel all over Upstate NY and haven’t been treated as well in a long time. Kudos to the crew.
Absolutely horrible customer service. This just happened a few minutes ago, but I was trying to call the store because ordering through the app wasn’t working. After being on the automated recording for a bit, someone picks up the phone and abruptly ends the call without saying anything. Now this could have been an accident so I called back. The person would now basically just answer the call but put it on the counter so that it would stop ringing and I could hear everything going on in the store. No “please hold”. No nothing. And they never came back to the phone. I tried this a few times and it was always the same. Like it would be so easy to just communicate “could you please hold on, we are a little busy right now” but this was just rude and dismissive. Really a shame.
DiBella’s makes a killer sub. The only other sub I’ve had that beats it is Amiel’s up near Rochester. But yeah, DiBella’s is great. Leagues better than Quizno, Firehouse, Jersey Mikes, etc . . . . competing sub shops in that same premium sandwich category.
Their rolls are so, so yummy, the meat tends to be free of gristle or excess fat, the cookies are tasty, and the service is good.
