Just snagged some of their coffee at a local restaurant and War Horse was so good. Cannot recommend them enough.Michael Tsipouroglou, one of their staff, had dinner with us the other night and he convinced me to order some of their single serve so I’m going to get right on that!
Great people and fantastic coffee. These folks clearly know what they're doing when it comes to coffee, and love what they do. You can buy beans online, at the roastery, or in a few spots around Ithaca (Collegetown Bagels is one place that has them). They also run a small cafe at Cornell Law School during the week with freshly-brewed coffee, delicious scones in interesting flavors like ginger/orange/chocolate, and grab-and-go lunch options. I look forward to many more amazing cups of coffee from Copper Horse.
I am really looking forward to visiting in person some day soon. This is the best coffee I have ever had! My favorite is the Warhorse blend. I buy it online and it is delivered in a couple of days! I keep the beans frozen and grind frequently to keep it as fresh as possible. I highly recommend trying this!
I'm a first year law student at Cornell and when I heard there'd be a cafe in the building I figured it would be a chain and not a deluxe specialty shop. This is seriously the best coffee I've ever had. The main barista is also a magic person who has everyone at the school's drink order memorized and quoted Hamlet at me today.
These guys were great. They were at a music festival just outside of Buffalo for two days, and their offerings were so good. I had the scratch iced tea, as well as a mocha. Just as great as their drinks was the service they offered. These were two very long days (12+ hours), and visiting them at the end of Day 2, they were still very energetic and making customers feel very welcome. Being away from your main business can be tough, making sure you have enough product - and their coffee was so good, they ran out of packaged coffee to sell. When customers asked if they had any more, they were handing out small free samples from the beans they were using for their brewed coffee. Never heard them say "no - sorry we can't do that" to a customer, but rather "let's see what we can" to make sure everyone walked away happy. Again, great guys - would definitely stop by their place next time we are in Ithaca.

Highly recommend buying coffee from here. My wife and I are on vacation and we stopped in. We were able to have a taste of their coffee. AJ and Jesse were very friendly and welcoming, showing us how they roast their coffee beans. Not to mention their coffee.. Their coffee tastes great. We were able to buy some of their beans and ice coffee cans directly from them.
I found this little gem at the end of December and I’m simply in love. I have never been to their physical location but I order coffee online every 2-3 months or so and let me tell you worth every penny. It is shipped freshly roasted (I ordered 5/29 and my coffee was roasted 6/1 and delivered 6/2). The coffee is delicious and the best part is you will be supporting a wonderful small business. Every order I have received come with a handwritten note. 100% worth it. I am in love with the carriage house blend but they also have seasonal offerings....brewing bloom and bough right now and it’s amazing
Hands down the finest roasted coffee in the area. I didn't know it was possible to enjoy coffee without sugar, loads of cream or flavoring untill I had Copper Horse coffee. They have perfected the "science " of coffee roasting. Nutty with notes of caramel and toffee. Once you have tried theirs you won't be able to go back to a store brand again.
