I've been to some wonderful Chipotle locations, and some really awful ones. This one is probably the worst. Even though it was not crowded, the employees were slow, rude, and indifferent. The dining was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since before Covid. They were out of chicken. They were out of veggies. They were out of any concern for customers. I asked for white rice and got 1/8 of a cup. I asked for cheese and got 2 cups or so. This was like a horror movie set with animated mannequins for staff. There are so many better options in Ithaca. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dumpster fire.
This will be the first and likely last review I ever write. I have ordered from this store many times, hoping my experience will improve however it has not. I have had my mobile order delayed 30 minutes consistently. When I eventually receive my order, it is usually wrong. Today, I placed a mobile order for pickup at 5:30pm and still at 6:30pm my order was not ready. While I recognize that this is not the staff who were workings fault, it is a reflection of the poor management. If you are ever looking for a good quick meal, look elsewhere.Chipotle, if you cannot fulfill mobile orders in a timely fashion- turn them off.
Have been here three times. Will never come again!First time, I went to order directly, a piece of glass that separates food and ppl broke itself in front of me. They stopped fulfilling ordersSecond time, decided to use app to place an order. Arrived on time, after waiting 20 mins, they told me they didn't realize the orderToday, placed an order through app, intentionally made it ready 30 mins early, hoping they can do the job. Arrived and saw a post saying their on line order system is totally down!
All the 1 star reviews and the 5 star reviews defending the staff are correct. You can tell the employees lost their morale and souls to the burrito making machine. There is no sense of urgency, no hospitality, & no sense of cleanliness. They’re here for the paycheck and benefits, nothing more nothing less. When an employee is working at a crawling pace as lines get longer and online orders pile in, they just don’t care about their customers. No apologies for the long wait times. It’s truly saddening.Chipotle management really needs to solve their HR issues.
I have been to this location numerous times over the past few years. Within the last few months, the quality has noticeably decreased. It is hit or miss whether or not you will be able to order on the app. At one point the app wasn't working so I drove 15 minutes out of my way to the store (which was open) just to be told orders weren't "being accepted" at that time. I got delivery today and it will be my last time for a long time. Tiny portion size (noticablh different than the normal portion size) chips tasted stale, and overall quality of all ingredients in my bowl tasted old. Really disappointing how much this location has gone down hill.
Food is amazing... if you can get it. If not? Good luck getting a refund.I'd much rather be told I can't order due to volume or given a correct pickup time of 3hrs than waste my time and money just to be treated badly and walk away with nothing.I don't blame the employees themselves. The problem is clearly with whoever makes the decisions on how the store is run. It's pure chaos: way too many orders allowed all at once and no system in place to deal with them as well as no system in place to handle customers, nowhere to stand while waiting for orders/assistance nor is there room to form any lines at the register, grossly understaffed, no way to contact a human being outside of the restaurant if (for example) you were told to get your refund on the app but the app offers no refund option... the list goes on. If they weren't working under such horrible upper management they wouldn't be so stressed, disorganized, and rude.Whether ordering for myself or picking up an Uber Eats / Doordash order, it's always the same, outside of the occasional employee who still somehow has the energy to work extra hard trying to get orders out to waiting customers.
I’ve been to a lot of Chipotle locations in my life, and this one is by far the worst. Food is never on time. Ever. The portions are smaller than normal and food quality is below the company standard. Disappointing.
This place is disgusting, I have never seen this place clean! Even the work area was a mess, we like chipotle and we always give the Ithaca location another chance about every few months, I'm done trying with this place! It's obvious the manager and staff don't care, when we arrived we were the only people in line, they were working on orders for pickup, we stood there for almost 10 minutes and not one single person said a word to us, just kept doing what they were doing. All they had to say was...we will be right with you, It's not worth the money to go here, chipotle has gotten very pricey and more disappointing as time goes on with the Ithaca location. if I want chipotle I will go when I'm I Rochester, but there are so many other places I would rather spend my money!
It took nearly half an hour to get the food that I ordered online. All I ordered was a kids cheese quesadilla, which shouldn't be too complicated to make, but it still took a really long time to get my food. The line was also super long. I noticed that everyone looked annoyed while waiting for their food. Speaking of the food, it was not that great. I'm sure it it consistent with any other Chipotle, though. Overall, I do not recommend going here.
Wondering if y’all can add an estimated delay time to the app/online orders? I don’t mind the delay bc I’ve worked in food before, but since there’s an app it’d be nice to get a notification when it is running late. Like if there’s a rush couldn’t someone just hit a button that lets all the online orders know there’s an extra 10 minute wait. You could take it back off when you’re caught up, or not as needed.
