I used to really like this place but I walked in twice for a gingerbread latte during the holidays and they didn’t know how to make it and second time didn’t have the gingerbread. Also overly priced! I got the avocado toast for the first time and I was so disappointed!! It was the smallest pc of bread not even like an appetizer! I had to go somewhere else cause that was like a snack and I was still hungry. I’m going to pay so much money for something that not even going to somewhat fill me up. Upgrade your avocado toast to a regular size bread.
I've been here several times, the burrata salad is always wonderful and my favorite. Today I wanted to try something new and chose the salad with olive/ chickpeas / chicken was not good. Chicken was like rubber. Was disappointed.
Great food and super cute decor/vibes. Love coming here for a wrap/ juice or coffee. Wish we had more healthy places in Long Island like this one!
Food was fine , but the girls behind the desk let alone kitchen staff hadn’t had a mask on. Especially in Huntington….
Hot two different sandwiches, but perfectly made. My Blt egg avocado, topped with microgreens , on awesome bread was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in memory . 3 seed matcha bowl was perfect. The smoothies was just sweet enough. We left with a huge fresh scone. Our experience on a busy Sunday was great
I popped in here the other day for an afternoon tea/coffee with a friend. I saw on the drink board they had chai, the sales person tells me they are out of chai. No worries… I look back up and ask for the Golden Milk, he tells me they are out of that too. I then ask for a black tea to which he replied they don’t have it right now. Seriously? Then I ask what teas do they have to which he replied we have green tea. Well, since that’s my only option at this point I ask for the green tea. The tea bag in my cup was LIPTON! I did not come to a village coffee shop & cafe for Lipton Tea. No shade to Lipton but I can go to 7-11 or the supermarket for that. I was so disappointed with my experience here. When we walked in it looked promising as they had glass bottles of coffee grinds for sale along with fresh juices. I hope they find some new tea brands to sell or get stock back in if they already do. Lipton is not going to cut it for this kind of establishment.
If I can give them no stars I would. Not going to lie, I used to be a frequent customer of theirs a couple times a week because I live right in town and I love getting my coffee and shakes from small local businesses. But I went there today for coffee and a shake and the customer service there has been getting worse and worse with every visit. The girl behind the counter was so incredibly rude, that it was so uncomfortable being there. She seemed annoyed that we were even there in the first place. It was 9am and no one else was there besides us. We were excited to have breakfast there but she kept scolding us and giving us both dirty looks about everything we asked, so we eventually said never mind before she started to make the food. She told us to leave without refunding our card after I asked for a manager or owner. She said she was the owner — which I doubt, but who knows. Maybe she was. If that’s the case, that is exceptionally inappropriate. Will not return or recommend to anyone anymore!! It’s a shame because the food is good. But dealing with miserable nasty employees is simply not worth it.
The only good thing about this place was the decor, the iced campfire latte & the lovely lady who took my order, Nicole. The owner, Lauren (barrista) has a VERY nasty attitude. I politely asked a simple question about my order in which she said, "OK YEAH you're gonna have to talk to her about that" & turned her back on me. In addition, you shouldn't tell your customers to wait inside with a frustrated tone if your store is literally the size of one big room with only a few places to sit/stand. She also screams out your name about 4 times with a LOUD, annoyed, squeaky irritating voice. Not an enjoyable experience.P.S - Pumpkin Spice Latte (in the pumpkin) had ZERO flavor. Visually, it looks great but the flavor was NOT present. Tasted more like water than coffee
