The worst salad ever! Almost 9.00 for a small salad. The lettuce was turning brown within a couple of hours, maybe 2 tablespoons of feta, 1 olive and a tasteless dressing...what a shame. Mediterranean was so much better. I will never order a salad again and the spinach pie wasn't even remotely crunchy. I had to fix it when I got home!!!!
Went there several weeks ago to see Jim Breur live @ The Paramount & this place was terrific! Authentic Greek food, warm atmosphere, & super fast & stupendous service! They went above & beyond to meet our time constraints & made us feel so welcome. Definetly be back on our next trip to Huntington!
Amazing grilled octopus and horiatiki salad. Tomatoes are incredibly plump juicy and fresh.

If you reckon your self a Gyro aficionado like me, then you will love Parea Greek Restaurant & Snack Bar. Located in the heart of town next to the Paramount Theater I sat at a sidewalk table watching the folks of Huntington stroll by. I ordered the gyro lunch special which included Greek style Fries & drink. The food came out hot and the fries were crispy & topped with melted Feta. The gyro was over stuffed with meat, onions & tomatoes. Their Tzatziki was creamy and delicious, the perfect topping! Sooo if you have cravings for authentic Greek cuisine, head straight to Parea’s !!! You will not be disappointed!! 360 New York Ave, Huntington New York
Used to be the Mediterranean snack bar..now Parea...same chef...same family...the best Greek food our family has ever had...been returning for fresh fish...baked clams...saganaki and the absolute best spinach pies for more than 20 years.

I ordered food for delivery via a 3rd party. When I received my order, the falafel sandwich (which was delicious by the way) did not have the yogurt sauce I requested on the side. I called and the gentleman said they could not deliver it and asked if I could pick it up. I said I could and he offered me a dessert on the house as an apology. Definitely not necessary, but much appreciated. When I picked it up, the gentleman who brought it out curbside was extremely apologetic. Mistakes happen but they made it right without me even having to ask. That's how you do business, folks!I will definitely return. Thank you, Parea!
