Very poor quality Sushi and Chirashi. Visited with my wife kids ordered Sushi, Chirashi, and udon. Fish was not fresh for syahi and not that many fish choices. Chirashi was very poor quality even price was $25.. Cancelled Chirashi order. Udon was typical chinese style soup not Japanese style soup. If you want good Japanese restaurant with quality, then find other place. Sushi chef was mad when I cancelled Chirashi order. He better think more to improve quality instead. That ia my recommendation. Waitress was very nice.
The Salmon Skin salad was very good. The fish was fresh and the eel was tasty. No uni on the menu. Long grain rice was used instead of sushi rice and I missed the dab of wasabi in the rice. The dining area was clean with hand sanitizer on every table. I'll come back.
Our first time here, we loved it. Sushi is incredible ! We will be back !!
Osaka has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants EVER! My husband introduced me to this place when we started dating and the quality of service, the food, and the experience has only improved over time. Their lunch special is the best Bento box on Long Island. I travel from Connecticut just to eat here at least 1-2 times a month. We also come to see Yo-Yo, who owns the restaurant with her husband. They are the kindest and most welcoming hosts. We always look forward to returning to Osaka.
Best sushi in Huntington hands down! I love this place. Sushi is high quality and they don't over do with the rice. Rice portion in the sushi is just right, so difficult to find a place like this one. I recommend it 10/10
Amazing rolls, sashimi, and dumplings. Great service and great food.
The food is always spectacular. I've never had something I didn't love. The service is also incredible, everyone who works there is super nice.
Friendly, nice atmosphere, clean, great food. A lot of take out going on... Fresh sushi. We started with miso soup, which was light and not over salty. Then a seaweed salad, which was enough for two people, again light in flavor (which is good/not oily) the edamame were good, perfectly steamed and salted and salmon with vegetables... My mistake here but assumed it would be broiled with no sauce since it didn't describe sauces... Turned out to be fried/broiled? With teriyaki sauce. Still good... Four fillets... Left more than satisfied. Will return for sure.
Kind service, fresh sushi, and delicious staple Japanese katsu! Their lunch special is a go-to!
My husband and I are regulars here on Saturday afternoons for their lunchbox special. I get the chicken teriyaki and he gets the salmon teriyaki. Both are served over a delicious spread of onions, carrots, and broccoli with a heavenly teriyaki sauce. With it comes shrimp shumai, California roll, sticky rice, miso soup, and salad with a delectable ginger dressing. All of this for $13. You can’t beat it! Plus the entire waitstaff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We love this place and go at least once or twice a month.
