One of my favorite places to eat
Chicken was cooked well plus juicy and tender. Rice was fluffy, done correctly. Portion big enough for two. Lots of protein. ??.
I got take out (didn't realize the dining room was open) it was so good. Totally agree with other comments. Why would you get pizza or fast food when you could have this?
Kabul is one of my all time favorites. The lamb and rice with carrots and raisins is the dish I always go back for. The atmosphere is comfortable. I never feel rushed and every new dish I have been guided to try has been great. Reasonably priced and unforgettable. Highly recommend.
My family has been eating here for at least 30 years & has always been a go to location for eating out or bringing out of town guests.My only request is to bring back the sabsi lydum!

The most delicious lamb kabobs I have ever had!!
I’ve been eating at Kabul’s for over 20 years now. And, I love all the dishes, but my go-to is the Shish Leek Murgh. This is my favorite restaurant by far. I grew up on LI and now living in Manhattan for almost 10 years. I make a point to come to LI to continue to eat here. I cannot find any restaurant in nyc that can cook like this family does. Every friend I bring here falls in love with the food too. Thank you!
