I was recently there for a bridal shower. The wait staff were attentive and quick. The food was outstanding.
My husband and I visit this restaurant every month or two after work. We go to unwind after a full days work. Their food, service, and cleanliness is outstanding. The decor makes you feel like you're in Italy. They only have one downfall that made us consider not going back anymore. We wanted not to stop going to this restaurant and wanted the owner to know that he maybe losing other clientele due to this issue so we shared our findings with the owner. We explained to him that there is one couple who sit at the corner of the bar who consider themselves solely as the "Regulars." They manipulated the bar, the bar seating and the bar tender which in effect could be making the owner loss new and returning clientele. We learned that this couple are Friday Night Regulars and there is not much the restaurant can do so my husband and I will just visit on another night.
We had a wonderful experience. We decided to get take out tonite. Calamari on point. Burrata was absolutely delicious and a great portion size! Spaghetti with vongole was one of our faves. We love the small clams ! The chicken with artichokes was out of this world and tender. They have bread and garlic knots with take out. Many places don’t anymore. It goes a long way! We will be back. 5 stars for Joanina ! See you in person next time !
I had my Daughter’s Communion Party on May 14th and it was absolutely the best ! Bobby and his whole staff were fabulous they all went out of their way to make everything perfect !!! The food was absolutely delicious My whole family is Italian and they loved the food.I highly recommend having your party there ♥️❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️
Great place, authentic delicious food but pay attention to the wine list. Aglianico Irpinia on the list is not Aglianico Irpinia DOC - the staff explanation of a new label which omitted Irpinia from it was rather lame. The wine was Aglianico Campania DOC a substantially lower quality wine and generic to all of Campania. Let’s be honest with our clients!

Great food, fantastic service. Excellent spot for date night or to take a family out. The wood fire oven is awesome and it's a show piece. Burrata is amazing, highly recommend it and the grilled artichoke is also delicious. Highly recommend this place for people new to try.
Dined here last night and was very pleased! We made reservations and the restaurant called a few hours prior to confirm. I appreciated that!We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Lots of good choices on the menu. We started with an order of fried calamari (tasty, with a nice tomato sauce on the side.Entrees: Fusilli con Carciofi e Gamberi (Fresh fusilli Calabrese, shrimp, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, garlic & oil, pesto) and Gamberi e Fagioli (Jumbo shrimp & cannellini beans sautéed in garlic, virgin olive oil & rosemary). Both were well-prepared and delicious.We plan to return as soon as possible - I would recommend giving Joanina a try!
Ambiance is intimate, not too many tables or overcrowding. Food is outstanding. Nice menu selection and wine was great!
Yummy Italian food, all around a great spot. If you can't get a reservation, just go early and sit at the bar.
