The store smells amazing when you first walk in. With a name like Clipper Ship and a smell like that, it's almost like going back in time. The women at the counter (I believe I dealt with the owner?) Was super helpful and knowledgeable, and was able to help me find a tea I've been looking for for a while (the closest modern equivalent to one of the kinds dumped into Boston Harbor in 1773). The tea itself is fabulous; lapsang souchong if anybody's interested. Smells like pine smoke due to the making, but strong, smooth and smoky when steeped. Can't wait to go back and try another kind. All around wonderful experience.

I only recently discovered this gem after years of frequenting Huntington. As an avid tea drinker, I am beyond pleased with the variety offered. Service is great. The true passion and respect for the tea is evident and contagious. Forget Amazon and shop small for all your tea needs here!
I've been shopping in the Clipper Ship store for a few years, but had to write a review today! I wanted an infuser mug that was large enough to hold a nice size cuppa, and a good black tea that would stand up to the oat milk I use. The saleslady (who, it turns out, was the owner) listened to what I was looking for and really broke down what would be my best options and why. She was spot on! I was so happy with what I purchased, I called to thank her. I've always been greeted with helpful salespeople in the store, and been very happy with my purchases. Great tea store, with a large selection and friendly service!
