Love la candela (all locations) but this one is the closest to me. It's beautiful inside. Great for lunch or dinner. Also the perfect spot for any party!

Went there yesterday for dinner. My first time. The place has a very nice decor, nice background music and friendly people. From our drinks, appetizers, food and desert, it was all delicious! We truly enjoyed it. Well worth the money! Great service.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Huntington. My husband and I came here for the first time a month ago, been back 3x times since. The service is unmatched, James the manager went out of his way, each time we visited, to make us feel welcome and ensure everything was to our standards (which it was!!!). The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. The best Peruvian food in the area…already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE! The manager was not professional, staff screaming because they can’t hear a word you are saying because the music is blasting! Our table waited 30 minutes or so for our drinks, and 2 hours for food just to be told our food will be coming out as soon as possible when we asked what was going on and that this was unacceptable! We kept saying we did not want it and they kept saying in response it is being made and we already made it to go. Other tables next to us were frustrated as well and seemed disgusted by the food. To top it off they said they would take a round of drinks off and discount the check , THEY DID NOT DO ANY OF THAT , took the card from us and just swiped it without making any adjustments and said sorry have a good night!!! Run don’t even bother with this horrible place , other places have way better food and service like besito.

Consistently awesome !!!! Great food and staff, always delicious!!!!

First of all I want to say this place really amazed me.As soon as I walked in I was approached by the hostess which was very sweet and kind and helpful. I was asking about the restaurant because it was so nice looking in there that I thought it was a catering hall. Soon after that I was also approached by the owner really cool guy wanted to help me immediately sat me down spoke to me about some of the dishes(to let you know this never happens at restaurants) made sure I was well taken care of by the waitresses. The decoration in the place was super nice looking very upscale looking beautiful color coordination just look at the pics I attached.I had a parihuela Which is a aphrodisiac seafood soup. The portion was so big I couldn’t finish it completely. Everything in the soup tasted freshly caught no kidding. I’ve been to other Peruvian restaurants but this one took the prize.I also accompanied my meal with some tostones(Fried smashed plaintain) they have a phenomenal taste in green sauce that you could pretty much put it on anything and it makes it that much better. As in for the price of food they definitely have fair pricing especially for the quality of food they serve.I also had their sangria which was really good also.I liked it so much that I ordered a decent size order to take to my family for New Year’s Eve and still didn’t break the bank.Literally everyone that works there that I’ve bumped into while going to two times I went were extremely nice, respectful and attentive. If anyone knows me I am really big on service I must say this place met my standards. I will be going again soon very soon. Also I was told by the owner that they have live music I believe on Friday nights. Since I went on a Sunday night they had music playing and the vibe was so nice. Not to mention the women that were at that restaurant that day were nice looking. So if you’re looking for some delicious Peruvian food With a nice vibe whether you’re on a date or just out with family this is definitely the place to go try.I will be returning really soon because for NYE I tried their “tigers milk” leche de tiguere, and ceviche mixto, Lomo salteado, and the Jelea. And loved all of it even after reheating it in the oven.

Tonight we celebrated my nephew’s 18th Birthday and this restaurant and Jose, our host, were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the ballroom entertainment (deejay) was lit. We danced and had shots all night. We had a fixed menu and Jose really accommodated us with a few changes. If you are planning a dinner party I highly recommend La Candela Huntington!!! Jose you are the life of the party, thank you for your hospitality and a great night...I’m sure we will be back again real soon.#TeamJeremiah❤️

The place inside is gorgeous and spacious with ample space for parties. White table cloth settings in an upscale atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the Peruvian cuisine was very good. They have only been opened 6 months so some kinks are still getting worked out which resulted in some dishes by members of our group not arriving. This required a reminder and the dish arrived shortly afterward. The overall was a pleasant dining experience and we look forward to dining there again.

Loved it here. Phenomenal restaurant, which I highly recommend. Randomly chose this place & from the window you can see how nicely the place is decorated. The interior and exterior is eye catching. Service was phenomenal. Staff were professional, courteous, and attentive. Ambience is amazing. Parking available. They have nights that offer live music, karaoke, e.t.c. they also have rooms that can host large parties and events. Definitely make your way here.
