This restaurant used to be very very good although the service is always very bad but the food used to be always good but yesterday was very disappointing and I felt like we had a food poisoning and when i complained about how bad the food was nobody paid any attention and they only cared about the money! We’re never going back to this place again.
The staff was not very friendly
The food was ok, not worst I’ve eaten or best I had, but the service was really bad. The Waitresses were not friendly at all and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. My husband got the all you can eat and I got from the menu. The waitresses were watching us as hawks but when we asked for something seemed to not see us. Our 4 year old tried five fries, tops, the kid had already eaten and is not really keen into food she doesn’t know. The waitress had the audacity of charging a whole kids buffet menu for the French fries she tried. For the sake of argument let’s say she ate the entire small dish of French fries, which she did not, they wanted to charge $14.99 for that! They refunded me $10, but we go to restaurants to eat good food and have a good time and not have to be distrustful of they charge and be fighting about French fries! Advise to owners, improve on service and just let people know you’ll be charging for the buffet price to everyone who sits on the table. Personally I’m not going or ordering from there.
Sushi Village is great for anyone who's just craving sushi. You have two sheets of paper where you can check off anything you would like. The first sheet consists of different soups or appetizers (chicken katsu, miso soup, tempura, etc.), and the second sheet has a wide selection of rolls. The appetizers come in about 5 minutes, but the sushi comes in 20-25 minutes. Food isn't overly unique but enough to satisfy your sushi cravings.
The all-you-can-eat sushi is fresh made and phenomenal for the price. The staff is attentive, courteous, and efficient. This is a go-to place for me. I highly recommend it!
So first off the restaurant was really nice, and felt welcoming, where asemployees weren’t talkative and there wasn’t a proper introduction, or name stated or how the menu worked, they just placed what we needed down and continue onto another task. I’m understanding that there job is quick efficient, but where my concerns come in is , while walking in me and my family weren’t aware every dish was over 25$ and the menu in front wasn’t in bold so being out of state it didn’t catch our eye, and the sign was facing away from us , it was not clear about how much everything cost. Really would have been helpful for a more deeper context. Ended up spending 100$ (Im from Houston and you can grab way cheaper sushi and it still taste the same.)Another complaint that made me upset was that not only was the food so good I rate a 10/10 but while I was eating I found a sort of white worm like substance in my fish and i wish I got a picture of it , it really scared me and i want to give a warning out there to people who are trying sushi and are not aware of what your consuming! Please take in consideration!Thank you.
Sushi was fair. The fried foods were very greasy. The Kani salad was okay. The salmon skin salad was soso. The sashimi looks very nice and fresh. The fish look fresh and tastes fresh. Taste is lacking a bit. Bland was the theme. High quality fish. Everything was good just something was missing. One of the better all you can eat places with top notch fish quality. I'd say much better than the competition so far. Everyone working there is clearing tables some with gloves and some without are also serving food and not washing hands. Service is okay/soso friendly but not super attentive. You need to get their attention because you will be sitting there. Soda tasted okay. Sushi presentation was very good. It was either a hit or a miss and it felt like a miss. I don't know if I'll ever go here again. There's parking which is very convenient. The restaurant looked very nice. All you can eat Japanese food. All you can eat sushi. Basically a all you can eat buffet just order off the menu and stop eating before you stop breathing. All you can eat for $29 per adult and $9.99 per child under 3 they said and charged. Sushi village is decent.
Around 3.5 stars. The waiters were very attentive and great. The problem with this place is that masa sushi exists so close and offers a better quality experience of nearly the same system for a lower price ($28 compared to $22 for lunch sushi buffet at the time of this review). The rice from the sushi tastes imo less fresh/good comparatively and the food in general was made a bit sloppily. Sauce on the tofu and sushi is kind of slapped on and one piece of tofu didn't even get any sauce on it. As for the sauce on the sushi some parts had heavy amounts of sauce and some parts light amounts. Just drive to masa sushi nearby.
I've never had complaints the times that I've gone here. The sushi always tastes fresh and the service is pretty quick. It is an over $25 for an all you can eat so definitely go with an appetite and a companion that can help you out. When I have a big appetite for sushi and can offered to splurge a bit this is the place I always go. The service is not going to be the most friendliest but they will get the job done
Always Uber Eats here when I'm at work. Finally got to come here in person for the first time and the food was delicious. Wait staff was very nice. Would come back here.
